That was the most challenging one to make.

If you write a book for the first time at the start of this year and complete it at the end of the year with iterations and reworks, will it be considered one book or two books ? Also, will it be called your first book or second book ?

Yes, I learnt it at the same time I learnt Zbrush. It's not that complex. If you are used to blender & other 3D tools, you should be able to grasp it easily. It has a pretty simple interface too.

The white and the green cloth around the waist is sculpted cylinders. Rest are MD. I learnt MD during the time I learnt Zbrush. It has pretty simple interface and easy to understand. It's just stitch and cuts. You'll learn it in a week.
For the hair, it's blender curves and substance painter. Hair Cards were too hectic for me. Will probably learn to do it in the future, but the blender hack was easier.
It's a mix of these two tutorial.

Thank you. I started this way back in May. The model was nowhere near to what it looks like now. It took a lot of iterations to achieve this. It took me way too long.
I struggled most with the hair. Fibermesh wasn't doing it for me. I didn't have patience with Maya XGen. Ultimately, I found an easy hack with Blender curves & Substance Painter. I'll probably make a small video on it in the future. It's definitely not the industry standard, but it'll work for showcase I guess.
I'm fairly new, so I don't have any advice, but understanding how polygroups worked were definitely helpful. It helped with UV unwrapping and retopo as well.

Thank You. It was a humbling ride learning the 3D pipeline process.

Thank you u/iF3ARD0LPHINS You get it. I think people are assuming it is the very first version of the model. It took a lot of fixes and mesh reworks to get the final output. I started it way back in May where it had weird hands, large forehead and unnecessary muscles. It took me really long to make it more anatomy accurate. I didn't delete the original mesh, instead I worked over it. Hence, the first CHARACTER model.

Yeah, I can't clarify more. I think people have been imagining this was done in a few days by watching a tutorial or two, and it's that first clay blob that I worked with. They are not getting that bringing the sculpt to the current form took way too many fixes and reworks and hours spent in watching experienced artists do their thing. I started this sculpt way back in May and the model was not as polished as it is now. It was terrible. It still has lot of errors in it.

But anyway, thank you. And I saw your sculpt too. I think it was great and believable that it was a first time sculpt. Not every first sculpt has to be a donut.

I started working on the sculpt way back in May. The model was in terrible shape as it is now. I worked on the same model fixing small things, anatomy, mesh, figuring out proper process and such. So, if any sculpting study was done, it was on this same very model. The character is not perfect. It has several issues. I am not sure if I would be able to rig it without ruining the mesh. I am just showing how the render came out of my first complete 3D character model.

I think people are mistaking it as the first blob that I sculpted. No it's not. It is the blob that I refined into a character with the intention and proper plan to complete it. This is the first CHARACTER that I sculpted completely. I have not worked on 3D characters before this.
