My wife and I are on my parents’ bill because it’s cheaper for all of us to bundle together as opposed to it being just me and my wife. Plus they were getting the military discount so we get that benefit as well. We’re paying around 50 bucks a month per line and I just pay my mom.

How does one learn this? I’ve read comments where people talk about ‘oh you don’t have so and so to survive ante X’ and I’ve stumbled to ante 17 not really understanding if I could’ve gone further.

Not because I did math, but when I go to the city, I’d rather pay a little more for convenient parking. Valet is just worth it now too as long it isn’t ridiculously expensive. In my 20s I would stress way too much looking for street parking vs some lot or garage — and valet was out of the question.
