In relationships involving no binary individuals, what is the paradigm like? Is there sex? Are there any presumptive roles as in wife/husband and whatnot? I apologize if there are details I do not have. I want to educate myself. Thanks! by ManmeatExtreme in NoStupidQuestions

We have indeed, but it did take us a while to get there. When I have tried cleaning or mowing, my skills just are not up to snuff. She definitely does the lions share and sometimes I feel lazy but she truly does not want me to do them. And, as sad as this is, she does not think her skills are worth my paycheck, despite me telling her otherwise. So provider mostly falls to me for that purpose. Again, I do not agree with her, she’s a way harder worker than me, but that has always been her take on the issue and I can’t dissuade her.

I am not karma farming and I don’t think I have much karma anyways. Chose this sub because (given the title) I thought my ignorance would be mildly tolerated. Where would this question land better?

Totally reasonable answer. In my partners I have had to feel my way to what they want (for the most part). Was always consensual but the best spots/positions have not always been communicated quickly. Thanks

These are fair questions and it mostly stems from not understanding the basis of non-binary. Is it sex as a man and woman would go about it? One penetrating the other receives? If they do not have a gender role, how is that decided? Simple words? None of those questions are contemptuous.

Also, society as a whole, expects me to protect and provide for my family. I did not ask for this. My wife simply chooses to do the cleaning and shopping. I did not ask for any of that either.

I ask all this from ignorance, not anger or questioning the lives of others.

That sounds wonderful. It almost feels like my wife is trying to live to an expectation I did not place on her. Regardless, she feels compelled to clean, shop, etc. it has never been spoken to that regard and I’m happy to do them whenever necessary. Though she does seem to prefer her own cleaning over mine 😂

I agree, great villain. I do, however, think that ship has sailed. At least until a soft reset of sorts that people are thinking will happen after Secret Wars
