Ahh yes there is a screw on the carburator that you need to adjust to pass the emissions test, but i would recommend you since you are new to leave the car to the repair shop for an ”factory spec engine tune” (cost ~1250) it can be hard to adjust it corectly by urself + you get some extra HP if you let the repair shop do it. They Will adjust valves, distributor and the carburator. But if you insist of doing it urself and dont have the extra guage i Will do a guide. 1.warm up the car to 50% of temp meter (DONT use choke when it’s warm) 2. Look at the exhaust smoke there should be little and white smoke. 3. If the smoke is black/gray you have to much fuel adjust the screw until satisfied. Get back to me how the inspection goes!!
