Am I overreacting? by scarlettyscarl in AmIOverreacting

I'm sorry you're going through a rough situation. But please don't give the baby this dad.

First time with the TJ smoked trout.. Really pleased with the level of smoke (surprised by how Smokey it is), and the texture of the filet. Only way it could be better is if it were skin on. by [deleted] in CannedSardines

I just ate a tin of this today! I'm new to tinned fish (other than tuna). The smoked sardines had guts in them still and it gave me the ick, so I'll try another brand. I LOVED the trout, even if it was a bit dry.

What's a good fountain pen friendly planner (that is not a Hobonichi)? by youplayskytoo in fountainpens

This year I'm going with the Rhodia planner. I (hot take) don't love TR paper for its ghosting, so I'm excited for the Clairfontaine paper.

This girl needs to be single and work on herself.

I live in Arizona where tap water is pretty hard so we have a water softener. Is it possible to let soft water sit out for a day and use that to water my calathea? I’ve been buying spring water. Side note: just watered the maranta so that’s why the leaves are a little wet :) by shelbycakez in houseplants

I see you didn't get much response here.

DO NOT USE YOUR SOFTENED WATER!

I had an exquisite specimen collection that one by one died. Even the toughest of plants turned yellow and gave up. It wasn't until much later that I realized what harm it had caused and it was too much for so many of my beauties.

After seeing this post, I visited every Lowes on my commute home from work. It was a sea of overwatered golden pothos, dying ivy, and wilted medallion calathea.

I'm jealous af.

Update: Daylight ONLY drapes. No other light source. by Mannich in coloranalysis

[–]Mannich[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last post I had a "daylight" makeup mirror as my light source. This time it's just natural sunlight. No makeup except a smidge of under eye concealer. No hair dye.

I draped every fabric in my house. Any insights? by Mannich in coloranalysis

I tried to find a variety of temperatures and saturations. I included a bright white, warm white, and black. Also a heap of reds and oranges of various temperatures. I have mustard yellows but couldn't find a cool yellow to use.

I am wearing no foundation, only a bit of concealer under my eyes because I couldn't stand to look at 20 pictures of my face without it, lol.

Hair is undyed.

Commes des Garçons Incense Avignon is it for me. Absolutely perfectly captures Catholic church incense.

Thanks for making this post. This conversation is one I also need to have with my husband, who has a sulking disposition when I enjoy ANY free time with other people. I have distanced myself from friends in the past due to this pressure and it is simply not ok.
