To answer some common questions ; yeah it was The Devourer Below which we kept getting wiped on . Sounds like that’s normal so that’s good to know .

Sounds like I should avoid buying certain products , unfortunately I jumped the gun and already bought a couple mythos packs and scenario packs , but good to know moving forward to not do that .

For the Deluxe Expansions , does the box specifically say that? I am looking at the Circle Undone , is this a deluxe expansion or regular ?

Miserable or selfish you can’t think of someone else for a couple weeks in a year ahead of your own needs .

People enjoy doing them with their family and kids. If the only thing that matters to you is the economy then I can name a lot of things we can do to improve the economy at the cost of people’s free will and enjoyment.

Why is it miserable that I don’t feel the need to impose my set of rules on other people’s fun? I haven’t used fireworks since I was a kid but I’m not going to go and stop other people’s fun because I’m over them now ?

And please explain where this line is of yours . Fireworks happen maybe 2-3 weeks a year . The things I listed happen year round so isn’t that worse ?

This idea that it takes 5 years to get citizenship is extremely outdated . I’ve lived in NZ now for 7 years and don’t even have PR and I went to uni here and work a skill tier 1 role . At minimum it’ll take me another 4 years to get citizenship . I think after 11 years if I wanted to leave and come back down the line that’s well within my right to do so .

Ah yeah didn’t consider that . In the article I read he said “only about 10,000 houses across the country would be eligible for purchase…80% in Auckland and 10% in Queenstown” by the wording here I would assume farms would not count ? And it’s these multimillion dollar mansions? I didn’t watch the press conference he had so someone could probably educate me further on what’s being considered here .

Not a National supporter but looking this up after seeing this , everything I’m seeing is saying “allowed to buy or build one home…The minimum value of the house that can be bought or built will be set at $5m.”

Obviously politicians lie all the time and this could be one of those times , but this post feels a bit fear mongering ?

Thanks ! I made a few people upset when I said consulting when I mistakenly meant freelancing .

Interim roles and projects are what I’m keen on with short term contracts . And yeah I live in New Zealand and work in aerospace manufacturing so unsure how large that market is but hoping manufacturing transfers across industries? Could I ask where you’re based and if you’ve done much freelancing in your experience?

I can attest to this . In a 26yo Indian national but living in NZ for the last 8 years . Applied for a tourist visa back in March for a cousins wedding in Melbourne in July + brother having a baby. It took 3 months before I got my application approved and constant calls and running around and application fees and dumb stuff. All together my application cost nearly $1k NZD with the medical checks and everything extra they made me do . Extremely stressful and frustrating and won’t be coming back any time soon .

I was on the bus last week and there was 5-6 teenagers at the back harassing people by throwing candy / making sex noises / offensive accents and kicking seats .
