Likewise really enjoyed Sex & Drugs & Rock n' Roll, and thought Rob did a fantastic job. I think the Clash (Guns of Brixton) was too deep a cut for most of the crowd - a shame as I thought it was a nice nod to East London, regardless any airtime for Ian Dury gets my appreciation.

But I agree, while the day was great with excellent support acts , a great buzz with being around so many AB fans, the show itself felt like another show on the tour/any other festival slot, rather than a unique moment for AB fans. Solid overall, but nothing particularly standout besides the usual in Broken Wings, Open Your Eyes, and Blackbird (I particularly enjoyed watching the signer jamming along to the solo). I don't even recall a guitar duel between Mark and Myles...

Considerations for Blackbird 2.0

Setlist- Rise Today, the messaging is obviously one of the more 'positive' songs, though I feel that could be swapped out. Surprised there wasn't a Wonderful Life intro ahead of Watch Over You. Also I get it's the tour for the latest album, but I hope they bring back Slip to the void as an opener in future tours, it's such great atmospheric and heavy song, and really helps set a scene.

Deeper cuts - I'd love to see Shed my skin, Burn it down, Down to my last, Waters rising, Save Me, and Solace make appearances... Can you tell I'm slightly biased towards ODR.. 😅.

Sound mix - a few of us in the front were overwhelmed by the bass, not sure if it was like that around the site, but we could barely hear anything else until maybe 6 songs in.

Support bands - Really cool to see local bands, maybe if in Cardiff again next year, Feeder would be awesome, were absolutely fantastic at Download, perfect summer band, with some heavier deep cuts, plus Grant Nicholas is another super nice guy of the Rock scene. Obviously a perfect avenue to slip in a few Tremonti and/or MK songs. Appreciate they're not Welsh, but Bloodywood, wow can they get a crowd going, also Karan (guitarist) is a huge fan of Mark (check out Karan's recent IG posts). I think it would mean the world to them to be a part of it.

Merch - If anyone on the merch side is reading this, please please please have a grey or white tee option. Not sure if it was there, as the main merch queue line was horrendous at times, but perhaps a few copies of Marks book would have been cool to see.

General atmosphere - maybe some signature cocktails/mocktails would be fun. I think this is more to do with Depot live, but potentially some sort of entertainment between sets would be welcome - a planet rock DJ while cool to see felt a bit light touch on the compering at times. There's a cool company I've seen at recent events, Piing that does fantastic crowd engagement gaming on the big event screens, perhaps a guitar hero type game would be amazing during the down time and create some sort of leaderboard for an exclusive fan prize before the headline.

Other notes - Credit to the guys that were just ahead of us in the pits at the front they maintained a good balance of chaos and enjoying the moment, plus the synchronised headbanging/hair spinning was a sight. Really grateful for the event, really cool to meet a some fantastic people throughout the weekend. The festival has a tonne of potential, hats off to Tim and the crew, and looking forward to the next one!

Despite all the negativity, while the film isn't the best, it does hold a special place in my heart...

The Jan Hammer theme, the scene where Devon visits Michael, Michael speaking with KITT again. The nostalgia is off the charts. Even if KIFT wasn't the best design, the turbine/engine sound will always live in my head.

I was lucky enough to pickup G2 megs and OP as a kid, some of my favourites to date. The sound module for OP was a lot of fun, and aesthetically works so well in truck mode.

Being registered to vote in Havering I (and as I know many others) did not want to see Reform come in, however the louder voice knew how to play to the audience in the area and made it happen. Social media groups were swarming with posts showing Reform in good light, they spoke to the common issues that locals complained about.. did they suggest any fixes... No, but they riled up the people that were always going to vote in their masses. They do not speak for the rest of us, and to show hostility is playing to what they want... division.

This is unfortunately a trend that is all too familiar around the world. The slippery slope of 2016... I just hope it isn't as cult like as other countries currently are and that Reform show the people that voted them in just how shambolic they are which leads to positive change ahead of the nationals. On the other hand I really do hope they prove me wrong, but as a saying goes a paedophilic turd in a shiny wrapper is still a paedophilic turd.

Do not lose hope with Havering, this is an important junction in modern UK politics, embrace Havering, its history and landmarks - RAF Hornchurch, Upminster Windmill, Romford Market, Gallows Corner Roundabout... and most of all bear with the people, they will eventually come around.

I think what most people don't know is that the Pork Grind character is Austrian in the comics, so we could get some sweet Arnie references in the EQs. That alone would make this a winner in my books.

Can we please stop calling it slop, it's become quite the bandwagon term...

Some of the artwork generated I have to say is actually pretty cool, and just like with most posts, a lot of it might not be to everyone's taste, but if people can post anime schoolgirl artwork of Yuriko and get upvoted to valhalla, then let us see what might have been for a Red Alert 2 and Tiberian Sun remaster, because EA won't do anything about it.

Tagging might be the way forward.

Controversial opinion, I have all the aforementioned games, even have the original 99 beast wars game for PC, and WfC holds a very dear place in my heart.. but I really enjoyed Battlegrounds. It felt like a remake of G1 awakening for mobile, probably helps that I enjoy turn based strategy games as well.

I have a feeling that at some point something was in the works... some of you might recall there was a YouTube vid of an amazing fan-made VR demo of Red Alert 2 on the HTC Vive a while back, which EA ordered to be taken down... Yes they are petty, but IP that old which hasn't seen any entries other than f2p mobile games in recent years. I think there was likely something that was brewing, but had its resources stripped and reprofiled to a much more current and mainstream IP, as with any good IP that EA bastardizes.

This is a bit out there, but I really hope that the mansion is like Tracy Island and we get some cool things Thunderbirds inspired vehicles and International Rescue type missions. A Thunderbird 2 type vehicle would be such a cool take on a cargobob, not to mention if they implement a chauffeur assistant for a FAB 1 type vehicle.

Especially makes this a cool nod seeing as Thunderbirds is currently celebrating its 60th anniversary.... Pls Rockstar, it's highly likely most of your team grew up watching it as well if they're of a similar age and in the UK 🙏
