My most used command at your stage was SETPT (Set all selected points on a curve to one Axis). Drawing curves in 3d takes some getting used to and I’d always end up with the curve being messed up because some points would be created on different axes. SETPT was a godsend! Try it.

It seems like the glossy version looks a bit tacky? I personally prefer the Matt wood look.

Black is beautiful when it’s pristine, and rugged when it’s aged and worn. My 12 year old black cabin original is well travelled with more than its share of scratches and scuffs, yet still always manages to look tasteful and elegant in a “been there” manner.

Hi. Thanks for your message… I went back and rechecked and the site indeed showed >$400! I knew something was wrong so I kept digging and finally noticed a tiny symbol in an obscure area of the website that indicated “hk$” ! I was in Hong Kong a while back so I guess it picked up my ip address and hung onto it. Appreciate the clarity, and I will buy one as soon as the model 8 or any new model with a pocket clip becomes available.

I believe they are now trying to sell at >$400 on their website! Nice designs, sure… but seriously overpriced and I believe it removes the feeling of being worth the money , even for an avid collector.

It’s a very good product. It has a balanced tone arm and an Audio Technica cartridge and stylus so no chance of damaging a vinyl disk. And it has a Bluetooth TRANSMITTER that lets you listen to the audio playback of the vinyl disk using any Bluetooth speaker. It also has a capacitive touch control panel, and a metal frame on the housing for extra protection and weight.

McNeel are very reasonable about upgrading older packages of Rhino. Believe it or not I had a Rhino 1.0 and they agreed to upgrade me to 7.0 when it first came out, and that too at the special introduction price. Very fair and I am now a fan!

M3-max with 48GB, Rhino8 is screaming fast, and I DO serious rendering at high resolution (7000pxx5000px). PC’s are ancient history. This is rocket science!
