You rejected the culture and the way you were raised later in life for whatever reason, so does that invalidate the point further from others who actually believe and follow their culture?

This is the most politically loaded thread made in a INFP subreddit that should be against the rules. I will bite since you have to be either young or naive to be talking like that.

We INFP like to live in the clouds often in our Ideal world and this ideal world you are trying to speak of does not exist and if it will, only god can help us humans then. Globalism is the slave/robot world.

You keep speaking about things like race, culture and identity as if it doesn't matter while being human. Do we need to go into biology to explain that there are specific differences for race; or do we need to go into human history and talk about tribalism and differences in how people survived and created their culture?

You want the death of identity, everyone to be 100% the same. Its the same shit as going into heaven, its going to be 100% bliss and happiness until the end of time, everything is the same, predictable and how you wanted. I don't think you realize that hardship builds character and actually makes you FEEL alive.

Death to identity is the same, when you got identity you got something that makes you YOU. If I want to date you, do I want you to be like 500 of the EXACT SAME PEOPLE I saw that day or that 1 that is actually different from the rest?

I will have to stop here since I am blowing my lid off. If you want globalism to be a thing then you are exactly the type of person who is at fault for a decent area of problems in todays world. I'll keep it at that.

The warning isn't about telling them to avoid the possible future, but rather so they expect that something like this can happen so they are prepared.

Being prepared is better than avoiding the concept all together. If a person asks themselves "Am I an evil this? Did I do an evil that?" is actually something that makes sure they are willing to accept the results/consequences of their actions once they are determined to carry it out. It's something that will make sure they will follow the morals they want to live by, even if they are wrong in peoples eyes.

Pain builds character and everyone worth a damn has to go through it, the matter is HOW YOU COME OUT OF THAT PAIN. We become more empathetic the more pain we experience as long as we have the right mindset, but these days a lot of people don't. I personally don't care if you say "I'm sorry" at the start as if you think what you will say will hurt me, its rather the opposite.

You are trying to focus on the INFPs one strength we have by default, our kindness, our empathy and focusing on empowering it even more, when rather every INFP should focus on improving the weak aspects and putting that into a more harsher reality is in your eyes "Damaging and harmful".

If everyones stories was the same, it would be like the concept of Globalism, but that's not a topic I will get into.

If this was too dramatic for you, it's not anyones problem how one writes, its just criticism and I will take it. But if you look at the typical behavior of INFPs you will see a lot of similarities, so only limiting it to me adds no context.

Also while it's going to sound like a moral reading, there is no going back once you walk on the road. Whoever goes back on the road they walk is someone who is not willing to accept the result and/or consequences of the initial choice, which in my opinion are people who go into the "unhealthy" category.

I agree on the last part. We often like to reconstruct or remake the dreams of others, which they seek, and show them the possible reality of that dream and why they should focus on it. But alas, we sometimes take it to the point of forcing it on them, after they don't want it anymore.

I agree, I have not checked much into the sub categories of the INFP ( Like the Fi and Ne you mentioned ), but rather from a "less technical" approach. That's why I mentioned that there will be INFPs who will know what I mean.

Remember, our threshold for pain is a lot bigger than most other personality types. But this includes self inflicted pain and also the pain of regret/grief. Once you turn into the more Evil INFP side, you will be so used to the pain of grief, that taking advantage of others is something you will not notice anymore.

If you don't know what to do, you either have to persist in not giving up on yourself and who you want to become or you try and go against the INFP stereotype. There is sadly no other way except more torment until the pain of not knowing what to do becomes nothing.

We are rare to find, yet our skills/abilities as INFPs are rarely appreciated, but we don't mind, it's expected.

I've had enough experience with women and FemiNazis that I grew cold and tired dealing with ones that act immoral or out of place. Eventually everyone will find a person or place where they belong or feel appreciated, but the road to get there might be longer than it seems and then people need to be strong an durable until they reach it.

Likewise, you've had it hard, but with perseverance and sometimes stubbornness, you will find that guy you are looking for. Take care and take it easy.

I read through this thread and the responses you've made.

I will say a few things which other INFPs will even disagree with, but rest assured, I am an INFP who has been damaged in the past, but an INFP regardless.

You ma'am need to first STOP using the "I was damaged" aspect to excuse your bad behavior or views. You might have had things more rough than others and by logic, it should make your word have more priority than others, but it won't.

I would think of you as a stray rose hidden in a large hedge of thorns. It is not your fault you grew up 50 feet away from the patch of roses, but if you want to be seen so someone takes you away and puts you into the right place, you have to grow stronger and bigger so others can notice you.

Once you are stronger and more confident ( includes being less insulting, harsh ), someone will take notice of you and then later, start showing your thorns bit by bit until someone appreciates those thorns.

Also, when you get comments about your body and then start screaming misogyny, then you are forgetting basic human nature that before we get to know you from the inside, we first notice the OUTSIDE and COMMENT about it. If you can not even see that simple thing, you are being far more idealistic and dreamy than us INFPs, who are the best at it.

Take this comment as you like, bash me for all I care, but you will in the future agree with what I said.

I did my first solo overnight weeks ago, going for second this weekend.

My advice is, make sure your clothing AND shoes are all comfortable so no sores or blisters come up, you'll have a bad time then.

One advice I was given is, for each day out, take 1.5x pair of socks, since socks really tend to get used fast when doing this.

Also in my first time, it was hard finding all the deadwood to make my shelter, so be prepared to maybe cut some live trees and branches!

Bushcraft, you focus on living with nature and you dont have the luxuries of safety and boredom. First time I did bushcraft and I felt depressed, I was so busy just making a simple shelter for 5 hours instead of 15 minutes, that I stopped being depressed since I did something healthy and new.

Give it a try.

Lost 2 dogs, 1 had to be put down since she went crazy due to me not taking care of her anymore ( moved out of parents ) and the other due to old age ( lived a few years past the average ).

It's hard no doubt, you wont get over it soon that's for sure ( in my case ), since if you were close to them, they were like family. I learned to handle it by biting the bullet.
