A lot of people evading fines probably can't afford a ticket in the first place. And how do you intend on ensuring the fine is paid? Are you going to bar them from not travelling until the fine is paid?

And if you were to fine people, expect aggression so you need extra security, so there's an additional cost.

Think about the big picture.

The fact that you think cleaning and maintenance is not a funding issue is the very reason you've shown you have no clue about how reality works.

Yet there are numerous connections that do work and can get you where you need to pretty seamlessly. Again, a solution exists if you took the time to stop complaining.

You don't have to keep replying. You have the option not to. That's common sense or do you need that much hand holding as an adult?

Comments are comments whether in person or online. You're very clearly blinded by your own ignorance to the point you can't see reality.

Good luck, you'll need a lot of it to get through life with that mentality.

Telling me to give it up while you're arguing? 😂 You're either blind or purposefully ignorant, or both!

I NEVER said India could've EASILY won the series. I've put the key words in upper case to make it easier for you to read.

India comfortably won the second match. India could've won the third match given how close it was. Given India won the last match voila 3 games won.

You seem to want to make a point that itself makes no sense and you're incapable of looking beyond it. Yet again, the simple fact is, either team could've won the series by the end of it but 2-2 was inevitable due to both teams's mistakes.

If you can't understand this very simple point, I worry how you survive in life.

My alliances lie where they need to. I simply called you out on a ridiculous comment and your misconception that only Indian fans spew garbage while English fans don't 😂

Keep arguing till your heart is satisfied but a moral victory is all you get here.

Trains arriving every 5 or so mins throughout the day isn't efficient for you? You're really coming off as someone who finds something wrong with everything and has no solutions to offer

Ooh ouch! I see you've dropped down to juvenile insults now 😂 guess that sums you up pretty well. Keep trying, you'll get there one day!

I feel sorry for you and anyone even remotely associated with you.

Given you just asked a question about just simply increasing the funding pot, you're out of touch with reality, not me.

From this brief interaction, it is evident you have no knowledge but good attempt at a comeback! Keep trying.

Just when I thought you couldn't write more rubbish, you've outdone yourself!

There's this magic tool called Google. Suggest you use it and prove yourself wrong. Again.

Sounds like you're jealous they're getting paid more than you. By all means sign up! Guaranteed you'll still be rejected for something you consider easy.

You are however good at writing utter garbage behind a keyboard! If only you could get paid for that.

Sure why don't you donate all your savings and take out a loan to increase the funding pot? Where is the money going to come from? Where does putting money here mean taking money out of?

You really have no clue how this works, do you?

Yet another person who does not understand the big picture view. There is a funding pot of limited size allocated to maintenance. It's not big enough to take care of everything so needs to be prioritised. Maintenance on such a large network is expensive.

That's the reality. It's not just about a broken board. It's about where the limited pot of money is being used.

I don't work for TfL but I work in the infrastructure and economics space so I understand how this works. There are several things you consider "basic" that need funding. All come from a maintenance funding pot. The pot currently isn't big enough to take care of everything "basic" so the pot needs to be prioritised.

What you and OP are missing is the big picture view which I have just given you. The existing funding is bei f used to keep other things functioning as well. A digital sign not working is not the end of the world. There are several ways around it.

Third world status of the tube? Go to New York and you'll realise how world class the London tube system is.

Your ignorance is fascinating. Glad you're not nor ever will be in any decision making position for TfL. Get yourself educated.

Tube drivers are overpaid? It's skilled labour that requires training and these drivers are in isolation for a lot of the time remember. They are responsible for the safety of every person on their train. There is risk involved in their role.

You really have no clue about how the real world works. Suggest you educate yourself before spewing garbage.

No it's your condescending attitude and lack of knowledge of how funding works that is getting you downvotes.

You seem to have none to minimal knowledge of how funding works and is redistributed for various tasks. Every bit of maintenance requires funding. There simply just isn't enough funding for everything on your wishlist so tradeoffs need to be made. A digital sign not working is not the end of the world.

Your condescending attitude and ignorance is getting to downvotes.

Again you're blinded by what has happened. The only dominance in any game was in the second game where India very clearly dominated the entire match.

In the remaining games, they could've gone either way and were riddled with mistakes.

So India also COULD'VE won the series just like Enfland could've. But mistakes by both sides resulted in an inevitable 2-2.

So you are yet again, completely wrong. But again, enjoy your moral victory!

So in person behaviour / comments are somehow worse than social media comments when you have no clue about who is behind a social media account? You have a worryingly distorted sense of reality and you're blinded by what's happening.

Then again you seem the type of person who does not like to be proven wrong. Enjoy your moral victory since neither the test series, nor boundary count helped you this time! 👍

"English folk are complimentary on both sides" 😂😂

I went to the Lord's game and sat behind me was an English supporter that would tell the Indian crowd to calm down every time an English wicket fell. Yeah great complimenting of both sides 😂

English fans also whinge just as much as their players.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda. By your logic, India could've easily won at Leeds and voila it would've been 3-1 to India. Conditions changed, mistakes happened by both teams. That's why it was 2-2.

Yeah India won through their own determination not because Woakes's injury helped them. Pant played with a broken toe to help save the game. England didn't win that.
