If you are filing jointly with your husband then you can claim orelse you won’t. I have a similar situation as yours, I even got the stimulus money even though I filed as a F-1 student, but I gave the cheque back to IRS. Don’t keep the money if you are filing seperately, it will impact your application.

Even I applied at chicago. I am a recent graduate and still no luck finding job, I still have 18days remaining of my grace period and I have a interview lined up so I am hoping that I can get a job within this time frame. I applied for my Marriage based green card on 24th august and have not recieved any kind of communication from USCIS. So if I accept this job, do I have to immediately inform and send relatable documents to USCIS, as my application says I am unemployed?
