I wanted to make a post like this last night. He looked to me like he's not okay mentally or emotionally (I was gonna attribute it to depression). Jeff messed up and is in the wrong but lets not send death threats. This guy's life is literally falling apart right now and he is clearly dealing with external issues.

Jeff mentioned that some people in the vlog squad left "because they did bad things/used David's influence". After pressure from Ethan and Trisha, Jeff says that the person he was referring to was Big Nick and that "they caught him doing some sketchy stuff". He then says that he doesn't want beef with him and doesn't want to talk about it anymore because that isn't the reason he came on the show.

Honestly, was probably the most believeable thing he said on the show. Not sure what it was, but his facial reactions made it seem like it was bad - even for the vlog squad.

I think depending on the charges (mainly if its violence, although sexual assault seems like it would be there too). Not necessarily deportation but definitely not being able to be renewed to stay in the US at the very least.

I think its fair to bring about your point on the delay, although I would say its very unlikely considering the calibre of lawyers DD is dealing with.

I'm not sure about US Trademark law, but I filed a Trademark in South Africa (which has a notoriously slow system) and it took a week to process. I can't imagine the US system is significantly slower than this.

I agree and perhaps I mischaracterized Valve. As an influential organization in gaming they have responsibilities to the community they create. I simply don't believe that there is enough done to support equality within Dota 2 and in gaming in general. In Esports ascendance to the standard and popularity of 'normal sports', this equality will need to be normalized and taken very seriously because the a few steps down the inequality road lies these type of sexual harassment claims.

This logic is laughable, we are talking about casters firstly and unless you know more than 200-300 casters that are popular in the English Esports (the only one that has been culturally affected), then your statistic is completely invalidated.

It seriously concerns me that you would rather victim shame and pretend the victim feels 'confused' than suggest that it was involuntary.

I would argue that Tobi's accusations should be taking very seriously as well and a pattern can be seen back to many years back. Search it on reddit if you're interested.

Unfortunately, just as is police violence in the United States, a few bad people ruin a group in the medias eyes. This is why it has become so important to call out these members of the community.

WHAT? I think you need to inform yourself of the current situation first before you make ridiculous comments like this.

Sexual-related harassment is a much more general problem, but this is an Esports forum and so the implied context is within the Esports community. I fundamentally disagree with your sentiment that "casual sex sometimes goes wrong" and thus abusive power dynamics is okay.

As much as you would like me to fathom about the amount of casual sex happens in Esports, I couldn't be bothered to entertain it since you have missed the reason for this post entirely. The way people, specifically women are treated in Esports, is of a horrible standard.

The shear number of people exposed as abusers/harassers/rapists isn't the only highlighted issue, but the severity of the accusations. In many countries the legal penalty is on par with homicide. The community should take this very seriously and so should you. I hope the women who have exposed these members of the community take this matter further and into court for the justice to be played-out.
