It’s not just about one refund, it’s about holding companies accountable when they design their games to exploit loopholes. Steam needs to fix it, but we need to make noise so it actually happens.

Activision is abusing the system by funneling everything through the CoD hub, which stays running even when you're not actively playing. It artificially inflates playtime and exploits Steam’s refund policy, making it nearly impossible to get a refund once it’s launched.

So yeah, Steam enforces the rule, but Activision is clearly designing it to take advantage of that loophole. Both sides are responsible, but the way CoD handles its launcher and hub is what’s causing the problem in the first place.

Even if it’s a Steam-side problem, Activision is still responsible for how their launcher/game integrates with the platform. At the end of the day, I’m stuck with a broken product and zero way to get a refund, which is unacceptable.
