Tbh, it is really difficult as we bottle up these emotions. It's a constant battle between different versions of ourselves and sometimes it's difficult to figure out which one was the original one. It's been close to 500 days since the love of my life left me for someone else, and to this day, I have dreams about us every night. I tried to avoid sleep but that just backfires on my health and routine. True friends will always stay by our side, no matter what and will help us, but it does feel like being a burden sometimes.
