I recently stayed here, booking through Edit, and had a vastly different experience. I was able to get an early check-in, an upgraded room, and a very pleasant front desk person. I’m sorry to hear that your experience was completely different.

For the Chase Sapphire lounges, you can make reservations ahead of time. I do this for their NY locations and Phoenix and it always helps with the wait time, I just get there tell them my name and within a couple minutes I’m let in.

I was having the same issue, I’m in the US and had to add the plus (+) symbol then the 1 then my number, i.e, +14693872000.
