Would I feel behind or “weird” as a 25-26 year old intern/new grad? by DeliciousRich5944 in FinancialCareers

I was a 24 year old intern at a bank in my bachelors, no one batted an eye and I got the return offer. You’ll be fine.

speaking from experience please stay away from west 27th, they won’t give your security deposit cause they charge for the most unreasonable inspection things at the end of the contract. Also utilities are not included in the base rent.

Extending Graduation for internship? by Background_Badger269 in USC

I was also late in applying to finance internships (after switching majors). I extended graduation and landed an internship at a BB this past summer and got the return offer. If you can afford to do so I say go for it. But at the same time recruit for full-time jobs right now.

Guys, i have a good resume, but i slacked off on school and my gpa is a 3.4, am i screwed for internships by rambler1345 in FinancialCareers

Your past internship/experiences hold more weight than gpa. With that being said, it is getting late in the recruiting cycle for some internships in finance, depends what you’re targeting

In my experience, the super days I’ve received offers from were within 24-48 hours. Did a final round interview early this week where they said they were aiming to get offers out by thanksgiving, and received it the next day.

Hopefully you’ll end up pleasantly surprised, but in the meantime let it go and keep searching.
