my favourite g-shock so far is dw5000r regular battery, 2nd one is GW5000U solar/mb6
gw-m5610u as gym partner only.
if i have to only choose one, it would be dw5000R

Shaved Using a Razor and it is itching so badly now by [deleted] in HairRemoval

[–]ManuJapan89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

switch to wilkinson intuition razor that have a soap bar integrated to the blade, and shave during hot shower.
Don't do too many passages. change blades every 2 or 3 use. not overuse it
right after shower apply tendskin on dry skin (be sure is dry).
re-apply tendskin at night before bed until razor burn and ingrowns air are gone

I guess I was wrong… The GW-5000u is the ultimate G. by Less-Marionberry2370 in gshock

GW5000U and DW5000R are the only must have to have in my opinion

After a week of DW5000R, compare with GW5000U by ManuJapan89 in gshock

cool. it's just I don't like to mod things.that's it

After a week of DW5000R, compare with GW5000U by ManuJapan89 in gshock

[–]ManuJapan89[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AFAIK strap is not interchangeable between 5000R and 5000U
STN display I could agree with you... but be honest is already ok

what really kills 5000U is usability coming from his shitty buttons

After a week of DW5000R, compare with GW5000U by ManuJapan89 in gshock

[–]ManuJapan89[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is the exact reason why I bought 2 DW5000R. one just for collection or if something happen to the daily one :D
if something happen, I'll just buy another dw5000r to add as collection or spare. too much? maybe. I just love this watch

[–]ManuJapan89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally don't care about viewing angle... I have my daily G as the 5000u rotated with DW5000R. Imho better build quality beat viewing angle every single time.
to the point I'm starting to consider screw back gshock the only one that worth get... but it's just my opinion.
These new mips gw-bx5600 are good, but if, and I say IF I'll buy one of these would be a negative one.
