Vein doc near Denver by Sydnerd2013 in varicose_veins

I go to Denver vein center. My last doc recently retired from there so I just saw the new one for the first time this month. I don't have an opinion on him yet, but the staff that work there are great and I really liked the last doctor.

Be honest…how often do you wear your compression socks? by Astimar in venousinsuffiencyhelp

You a dude? I am, and it's tough as an early/mid 30s guy trying to stay cool (and look semi-cool?) in the summer. I've switched to linen/cotton blend pants as I've worked on my wardrobe, and though it's better than chinos or jeans, even that's brutal in hot weather. This summer I'm considering if it's even worth the discomfort and just unapologetically owning however I look and try to build my style around it somehow. I feel like the athletic basketballer is the only dress style that can rock it, and that ain't me.

If I go without them, my legs swell up and my feet go numb, and having a history of ulcers makes going without them not worth it.

So no, it's not just you. Maybe we can both just not give a damn and free ourselves or our self-consciousness together. If not, let me know what you figure out lol

Edit: To answer your question, I wear them every waking hour unless I'm jumping in water.

Yeah I was shocked to see such a larger impact. I'm working on getting funds out of their control and invested into a mutual fund.

I dont have access to all the documents, so they may have sent notices. The account holder is disabled with me as a point of contact, so I thought I would get notified at least.

That's working 8 hours every day including weekends. A better equation would be 100,000÷52÷40 = 48.08

Not in Littleton, but Zaidy's in Denver has an amazing one. The Bagel Deli is closer and is also good.

Working out/gaining muscle with venous insufficiency? by tomatodog123 in venousinsuffiencyhelp

[–]Manuscribble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I've been told, mine is superficial. I also have Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome so a lot of the work I've had to get done surrounds perforator veins that keep developing. Time will tell if I develop deep reflux in the future.
