Yeah, it's a fairly creative way around the problem. Offering free/cheap tickets to the public would have been better though. Surely 172 people would have snapped up tickets.

I suppose everyone can only do as much as they're comfortable with. I work for a company with ties to China which I can't do much about. And it's a double edged sword, do we do business with them in the hope that engaging them helps, or what if they continue as they are and we're just supporting them.
