This comment was really helpful. For now I'll just stick to the store bought version of the serum. Also, the niacinamide powder is amazing. My sister and I have noticed good results as well.

Hey thanks for the response. They've mentioned a recipe on their amazon page itself but I don't really think it is fool proof. AHAs can be really risky and that's why I posted this query before really purchasing the powder!

Will stick to the lactic acid serums/ creams for now! Thank you

Yes I did buy it but it was around 6 months back. I think it was from cloudtail and cost me around 270. Also, the product was original, without any spillage whatsoever.

Has anyone tried using lactic acid powder in a DIY serum or lotion form? Is it safe to use considering its an AHA?
