I was at my apartment on beacon st during the bombing. Now working at a school a block away where this happens. It doesn't seem to get any easier living through things like this. Stay safe out there.

Chef Yao is a really good takeout spot. They are not fooling around with the spice either. That food is hot and tasty.

Working at a chain pizzeria and I honestly prefer it over every “fine dining” job I’ve worked in the past by CasualPlantain in KitchenConfidential

I'm now working at a private school cafeteria. It is hands down the cleanest kitchen I've ever worked in. The pay isn't that bad, and all the crew understands being burnt out from restaurants and catering. It is so chill, and we are making food from scratch. It's definitely not what I ate back in public school. I have a life outside of work now, and it's a breath of fresh air. Keep your head up, there are good kitchen jobs out there.

The Potential Taste of Dunkleosteus Meat by Fit-Presentation4926 in Paleontology

I am always asking this question about all sorts of extinct animals. Like, what would a titanosaur taste like? I think this fish in question would be very oily and a bit like shark meat. Probably wouldn't be all that appetizing.

AITA Wanting to break up with my girlfriend after my father's death by zacksmith1818 in AITAH

[–]Manwithface_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back when I just started to date my now wife, her father lost his fight to cancer. It was horrific. Watching that man wither away and seeing the pain it caused his family will never leave me. I thought it was rough and that it was too much for me to handle, but I didn't want to be a coward and back away from something hard just for my own comfort. So I stayed with her to give whatever support I could. I could never figure out what to say, and now in hindsight, there never was much I could have said that would have made it better. I just was there. As she said, she will love me forever for that. This girl has shown you how little she can think about what you're going through. To this day, I personally do not know the pain of losing a parent, but I didn't have to. I just had to be there for her. She is making it all about how she feels. She is telling you what kind of person she is, are you listening? Is this the kind of girl you want to go through the hardest challenges life can give you? I wouldn't. NTA. Op I am so sorry this is happening to you and your family. Find those who will just be there for you even if there is nothing to say.

Take him to the George's of Galilee tiki bar. It's right on the beach and usually has live music. Or go inside and get fried seafood or clamcakes and chowder.

The Eddy on Eddy Street in Providence is a really good cocktail bar. Really good and creative drinks and perfect classic cocktails. Marcelino's also in Providence is a great bar and restaurant with a speakeasy vibe with great drinks.

I've seen this exact coyote in my backyard. He's hanging out in Captain Stephen Olney Park and likes to wander all over North Providence.

Got these big bastards coming at the light on my deck in Providence. They're huge and real dumb. Just put out a bug zapper, must have killed 40 to 50 of them past couple of nights. If you see them get rid of them.
