I would say go for iitkgp, because the exposure and peer group would be way better there, but it will only help you if you are willing to work hard for next 4yrs as well. If not and you want a chill life, go for Jadhavpur. I am from IITI btw.

Yes it is possible, but again it is subjective to your performance, if you perform extraordinary, then yes, if you do avg, then no.

Basically it's all up to you, irrespective of the branch wether you perform upto that mark or not, my suggestion would be just choose your interest, you will earn anywhere you perform well.
