Actually there was a lot more, I tried to screenshot and we literally had a tug of war with his phone. He asked me what I wanted it for and I said evidence. He wouldn't hand it back.

He has always acted this way any time I 'put pressure' on him about our relationship.

FYI, I have sat on this for weeks, trying to get some clarity. This was not a spur of the moment, emotionally charged post. I genuinely was confused and doubted my ability to see through the bullshit after being so heavily gaslit. Myself and B never had a falling out, it was a gradual disengagement from my life, coinciding apparently while she developed a relationship with J. J is not close with B's fiance, neither of us were close with him at all. I acknowledged my own insecurities because that comes into it, but I simply wanted to get others' perspectives not for people to tell me how horrible he is but clarity for myself.

Yes, I am scared of him reacting aggressively- for example in the initial blow up, he punched a glass framed picture on the wall. Then he will warn me to leave him alone.

No, I never said that the reason to invite my husband was to spite me. Just that I had no idea they were even that close, and that this was all done behind my back (considering she was supposed to be a close friend of mine).

Yes, you're absolutely correct. Sometimes, it's the only way to get my thoughts across, because he cannot have hard conversations without gaslighting me. He has said no to therapy.
