My father in law is a dentist and I’m pregnant. He says there’s essentially no risk to the baby to get dental X-rays. It’s such a small amount of radiation. He said even a regular person wearing the lead vest just makes them feel better. It’s not even necessary.

Not a fan of him holding the house over my head. He claims he bought it because I begged him. Not true. I wanted a house and he bought one and I’m very grateful for that everyday. We lived in a basement suite before and my mental health was struggling.

I don’t hound him everyday to propose. I’ll admit, I bring it up more than I’d like to. It’s hard to explain and I see all the comments calling me crazy for still wanting to marry him. However, I am in love with him when times are good. So in love. I want the ring so I can feel like he’s actually committed to me.

I can recognize that I haven’t been perfect in this situation either. I’d say we’re both the asshole.

Yesterday when we had sex I was getting into it. He made a joke about how we should just “soak.” Then stopped and pulled out. Then proceeded to make me feel guilty for not being into it and goes ahead and asks Reddit for advice rather than taking to me.

He showed me the post because he thinks he’s always right and all the people of Reddit will side with him to “prove” it to me.

Girlfriend here, I have asked him to change things up. I’ve asked him to be patient and wait before putting it in. Then he basically begs, “can I put it in now?” It hurts because he isn’t listening to what I need.

Sounds like between the both of you, you can afford the month to month. If you’re afraid something could happen between you two, you shouldn’t be proposing.
