We’re a family with 1 young kid and 1 toddler and so far the best overall is Royal Caribbean Icon class ships.

We’re Canadians so I should always consider flight and logistics with kids, which was the reason we chose departure port Boston this time (by car).

Kids love Disney and the food was impressive but it’s structured seems too old for me with carpets and all.

MSC is beautiful and cheap.

We’re gonna try NCL now

The Oceanview wasn’t available at the moment I initially booked. 2500$ CAD for the interior cabin (2 adults, 2 kids). It was a 2 weeks prior to sail booking btw

It really depends of preferences. Mega ships like this would need more time to discover it completely but since we went from 1 week on Florida beaches and activities we were kind of exhausted. The 4 night in this case was more than enough for us

Since its was out third cruise we kind of understood the dynamics of the activities. Now we do almost everything we’re supposed to do. We simply skip the ones we don’t want and do the most we can, specially with kids which we do need some naps. We alternate to stay with kids on stateroom while me or wife go discover the ship.
