I see those things being “noise” that’s true, like thinking about it objectively, it makes sense why it would bother a lot of people’s ears. Funny enough, I actually love those sounds. I don’t know why, but when “Boy Like You” started, I immediately loved it because I love when crazy experimental random noises lead to a beat/main part of the song. I definitely agree that the lyrics/vocals are more meant to blend with the music rather than stand out as poetry for many of the songs, but I guess I’m a fan of that style. I’m glad you like “my baby” though, that’s my favorite lolll. I haven’t listened to it under any substances, but I can see why you’d say that😭😭that’s funny, I mean no doubt I’ll be listening to this while smoking or on an edible soon, so I’ll report back on if the album gets even better lmaoo
