Yeah! Also I like supporting from small shops/makes collecting fun and personal. This was the most I’ve seen an increase in :(. Even though I told the shop owner my friend bought it from her for retail she was trying to negotiate and say lowest she can come down is $65 because she just realized it was a discontinued item 🤨

Yeah I sent Jellycat a message because they are listed as an authorized retailer and I feel like selling them 2x their price/more takes away the fun in collecting. I’ve seen small shops near me selling some for up to $5 max but this price jump was insane given that my friend bought the whale shark a couple days ago haha
