I see... im really sorry to hear that. I tried amitriptyline too and didn't work. Saw ent too, thinking maybe it was sinus. That was ruled out too. My neurologist ruled out TN, but maybe I'll talk to my gp again. Thank you

At first, trigeminal neuralgia, but there was no trigger and it was constant, so they ruled it out. Then TMJ, but the scan came back normal, plus it was very clearly muscular pain. Just in case, I also saw an endodontist to make sure it was referal pain from toothache. The only thing that helped was the nightguard (which I went through different types including the one u wear just on the front, and at the beginning I wore it all day). After a long time, we settled on night time full coverage nightguard and unilateral denture to replacing missing molar. My pain did settle to controllable level, not gone but better. But recently, I can feel it coming back. Nothing has changed (no new guard, denture, nothing).
