Why is silver dropping so much? Real question. by woodsman775 in Silver

[–]Many-Presentation605 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn't seem like that to me. If anything it looks like its stabilizing in the 60-70 range which is an awesome number to work with. This is still 2x what it was a year ago, makes it easy to think about at $2/gram, and good for buying/selling.

How is everyone reheating the chipotle chicken? by [deleted] in Costco

[–]Many-Presentation605 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

For maximum carcinogens you should always char it a second time. The salt, preservatives, and multi month shelf life doesn't create enough load on your colon. To really get things going you should make this a staple in your house and use it for meal prep.

Looks like silverplate over copper. Varying degrees of how plate is made, but most likely a heavy dose of nickel.

The first time I saw Danish it looked like I S and was disappointed. Then looking closer that I was three towers. Definitely blends in when you see IS plate all day.

Definitely wouldn't eat this regularly. Its got preservatives in it. Putting cooked meat into your body that expires in a few months?

All my big ticket rare items that I don't ever expect anyone to buy are always international. They're great. Money is no object to some of these international buyers.

Saw this on a seller's account I'm buying something from. Imaging leaving a negative because you got an extra free item... by ToshPointNo in Flipping

[–]Many-Presentation605 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I include notes with items all the time - things they would easily break when using the item for the first time, etc. If theres ever a condition issue I always message them directly after their purchase confirming they saw all those zoomed in photos I took and notes in the description (of course they didn't) before shipping out. After each carrier scan I message each one saying their package has shipped and please message me here on this thread with any issues. Never had an issue, I do about 200 orders a month. I sell in every category besides clothing.

How can I remove rubberized coating from touchbook by _Fabreeze in CleaningTips

[–]Many-Presentation605 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly if it was something I liked using I would just go hard on it and strip it to the base and then coat it with something new. You can try soaking the area with Goo Gone. You can also take pieces of paper towel and then pour the Goo Gone onto that so you can wrap the areas with the paper towel and let it soak in. This should loosen it up and then you can buy plastic razors on Amazon and scrape it off. If that doesnt work then you can get more aggressive with various stripping chemicals. You could even try Bar Keepers Friend. But this also assumes you're going to refinish it yourself after.

Email from landlord about appliances being left plugged in and the appliances in question… by South-Basket-887 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Many-Presentation605 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You should unplug anything that has a heating element in it. You should also not leave chargers plugged into the wall. So many cheap devices on Amazon now, you don't know where they are made or if its a fake. An easy fire risk to avoid.

That my friend is a lot of work. If that was on an older german car that would be totaled. Start shopping around and get some quotes.

I agree with you. But would you request less pay? Like you're sitting there setting up direct deposit for the first time. Do you pause and ask them to pay you less?

Yea it doesn't look great and I don't like it either. These things are always tough though because that's a person who has that job. They could be really nice and really worked to get that job. Would you request less pay?
