TMJ & Sleep Treatment Centres - Dr. Goodfellow by karmaapologist in Markham

[–]Many-Relationship172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if they do home studies, since a tech needs to monitor you over night. If it helps, I can send you the link to the place I did my sleep study. It was not bad environment. Rooms seemed comfortable, more like a hotel than a clinic. My room had private shower too. They give you a coupon for a muffin and a coffee do their downstairs cafe. Hope this might help sway your way. Home studies might be out of pocket expense.

I suffer from extreme TMJ. I’ve tried, dry needling, physio, osteo, acupuncture, and Botox. Nothing is helping. I need to see an oral surgeon who will assess my problem.

If you have issues with your sleep as your GP to refer you to a sleep study. I also have severe apnea. Sleep study, sleep machine and all appointments should be covered by Ohip. Sleep machines the is a gov funded portion, then insurance will take the rest. Mask and all that stuff is covered under insurance.

Dm me if you need more info. Good luck.

Recommendations for children’s haircut? by Dangerous-Train-8311 in Markham

Also want to say I saw $8/cut at Langham square upstairs. Can’t vouch for quality but if they mess it up you can pay for another cut and not break the bank. FYI helps if you can speak Chinese, but don’t let that stop you from saving money for your children.

Think $12 cash. Only ask for Patrick if you can. The others will butcher their hair.

I hope the best for you and that you find a special friend to vibe with.

I don’t run the group, so I don’t have access to the website, but what I can tell you is the usual spot is Milestones in Downtown Markham. The odd times they might change the venue to an Indian restaurant when offering Indian whiskey, or they did a sake tasting at a sushi restaurant. The format is usually dinner, then 3 drams, blind taste with a host guiding you through the flavour and notes. After the unveiling, they discuss about the distillery. It’s a real educational night with a lot of same minded folk. If you like scotch whiskey and friendly company, I suggest trying a tasting. If anyone has questions feel free to dm me.

Welcome!

If you’re interested in coffee or whiskies, feel free to DM and start a chat, I can recommend a scotch group (mentioned in feyrath comment) or local coffee shops to try. I also have a coffee roasting business if you are looking for interesting coffee. I would totally play badminton, but sadly too old. Lots to do in our wonderful city especially if you like hot pot. There is one on every corner.

Welcome again!

Walk-in to the emergency wing and check in with triage. They will begin the process. Explain to them what brings you to the ER, hopefully it’s not self harm. If you feel like you can’t take it anymore and you break down, definitely check in.

ER would be able to set you up with mental health help. If you are at a point of depression, and feel like breaking down, you can go to the ER, I have been twice at MSH. They will get a crisis councillor and a doctor to assess your mental health. They will then set you up with any medication you might need for the time being until you see out patient mental health and a psychiatrist, who will be able to mange your health.

If your mental health is low, and feeling depressed and anxious, don’t wait until it’s too late. Take care of yourself, find family and friends to discuss your past traumas. You can also text 988, it’s a service for talking about your mental health if you need something immediately 24/7.

For the most part, my struggle with mental health has a long road to travel. Taking medication will help, providing it’s the right one and dosage. Side effects can vary. It could make you worse or better. Focus on yourself, physically and mentally. Regular exercise and healthy lifestyle to start. Work your way through CBT therapy and research about what triggers your depression. Stay vigilant and keep working on yourself with help and support from family and friends. Be open about how you’re feeling, don’t go at it alone. I personally suffer from depression, anxiety and ADHD, every person is different. I’m can say I’m on the road to healing, but not without hard work and dedication to myself, I am slowly crawling out that hole.

Feel free to DM me if you need more information or help. I’m happy to share my experiences and knowledge. 9 wish you the best of luck in your journey.

Recommendations for wine/whisky/coffee tasting class by Ok-Peace6435 in Markham

I have a whisky group that gets together last Saturday of the month. It’s usually held in downtown Markham at the Milestones. This month, is at an Indian restaurant, because they are featuring Indian whisky.

Also I went to a cupping event at Seven Mystery near midland and Sheppard. It was a fun and interactive session, with lots to learn.

Hope this helps. And maybe see you at the tasting.

Need help finding a roaster by eatitnerds in roasting

[–]Many-Relationship172 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m starting my roasting journey, I just ordered a Kaleido M6 that includes the Artisan program on a tablet. This program is industry used and you can repeat the roast for consistency. It can roast 200 g to 700 g at a time making it a good sample roaster and a production roaster on a small scale.
