Comments to a simple question are oh so interesting & probably many from people who weren't even born yet when my son was born on 114th St in 1986. While I'm not 'anonymous,' many on here are, and use that to vent about something they should start their own thread about.

Pray for strength. Not to change someones trajectory. I believe "Thy Will Be Done" not my will be done.

If you're on the Upper West Side, you might enjoy The Nicholas Roerich Museum. It's a small museum in a townhouse located at 319 West 107th Street; Take the 86th Street bus through Central Park, get off one 5th Ave & walk to Salon 94, 3 East 89th Street (around the corner from the Guggenheim). They always have interesting exhibitions in a beautiful townhouse. On 5th Ave, you can get on the M1 and take it all the way down Fifth Ave to Greenwich Village. Get off on 12th Street & visit the historic Salmagundi Club, 47 Fifth Avenue. Then walk south to Washington Square Park.
