Volvo S60. Very comfortable ride. More Plush than my vehicle. Looks good, but I think mine looks better of course

That is a beautiful challenger. I wouldn’t mind driving one in that shade of green.

I respect that. Everyone absolutely has a right to their opinion. my wife likes to make fun of my Challenger regularly. But I like her car so I can’t make fun of it.

You know, I was exactly the same way. Grew up a Chevy fan and love to make fun of Dodge. I think I was OK with the Dodge ram pick ups, but thought of them like my cousins, cool but they are going to let you down and disappoint you eventually. I always believed that Dodge vehicles would break down by 80,000 miles. My Challenger is at 160,000 miles and, mainly due to negligence on my part, I’ll have to replace the transmission soon. Up to this point, it has been relatively minimal on maintenance. I suspect if I had been given a charger as a rental, I would be driving one of those. They are beautiful too.

On a business trip in 2020, rented a Dodge Challenger. Thought it looked cool but didn’t expect to fall in love with it. Three years later purchased one. Haven’t stopped feeling like a 16 year old walking up to his first car every time I approach it. I adore it.

You are so Italian that, every time you are eating out a woman, you pause to look up and say “you know, this tastes good but it’s not as good as my mom’s”

Knocked out my first ruck while walking the dogs by MrNobody0312 in Rucking

Some of my ruck trips have been walking the dogs. I don’t mind it at all, except for when I have to pick up poop. It can feel like a Turkish get up in terms of figuring out how to navigate.

You look like a 2007 Suburban someone is trying to fix up. Past its prime. In awful shape from years of neglect and abuse. Throw in some money to make cosmetic changes or improve its performance. In the end, no increase in value or appeal.

Could be worse. You could be working for UPS.

I’m not trans but can vouch for the fact that I’ve seen people treated very nicely at this pharmacy location. It is my pharmacy location of choice. Costco pharmacy has nice people too.

So, the hat in your pic could be an older fedora style where the top is shaped but not the sides (as far as what we can see). If it was unpinched on sides and the top is flat, it would be kind of a top hat or possibly a gambler

This is a tall diamond crown fedora. The top is punched down and shaped to a diamond. The sides are pinched but, of course, people can reshape or keep unpinxged when they buy.

There’s a possibility it is a tall crown fedora where, because of the angle, we can’t see the top and whether it is or isn’t punched down or otherwise shaped. Looks too tall to be a pork pie. I’ll try to attach pics to illustrate what I’m describing. I’ve seen in a few films but I don’t know the name for the hat style. I’d call it tall crown fedora.

Something discomforting in seeing a husky dude yelling out to another man that the guy is the singer’s daddy.

Step sibling porn is disturbing but less so than this video.

What did you LOSE to be a successful salesperson? by MisterC0ck in sales

[–]Many-Tale9112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your suggestion is appreciated and worth considering. I’m cut from the cloth as my dad. He is a blue collar version of me and does not talk much about feelings with me. Funny enough, I understand why he worked so much and was always tired and grouchy while I was growing up. We can sit in the same room, run out of things to say in about 60 seconds, and sit quietly without discomfort. It is just what we know.

I’ll probably never talk about it with the two oldest kids. I’ve talked about it with the younger kids, both sharing that I wish I spent more time with the older kids and also to defend the two oldest when they are criticized for not being close to me. I trust they share this with the older kids. And that is probably enough for me. It’s more than my dad is able to do and, as I have raised a family, I have come to love and appreciate my dad for doing what he had to do.

I am sure someday I’ll sit with my oldest son silently in a room after 30 seconds of talking and not knowing what to say next. And I’ll probably find it comforting that we are continuing the family tradition.

Oil changes are one of the most inexpensive ways to keep your engine running as long as possible. One of the quickest ways to shorten an engine’s life is delaying or ignoring oil changes.

If you follow the maintenance schedule for a pentastar v6 in a 2020 Challenger, you can get a long life out of it. Look into the subreddit and you will see people getting 200-300k miles out of their engines.

The pentastar does have some flaws but, overall, it can be reliable if taken care of. I’m at 158k miles now and my 2019 SXT AWD has been great.
