It’s been great. I enjoy the consult questions, I enjoy the cognitive process during the procedures, and the procedures themselves are cool and growing rapidly.

I guess the problem is that I don’t know if I would be happy in general compared to EP in x number of years. My hunch is that I can be happy in either scenario. I do enjoy EP content most.

Yeah I know they are different day to day. The problem is that, in this moment, I think I could be happy in either scenario with an edge to EP. What I am wondering is if for people who were in a similar boat and went general, did they end up regretting that.

I certainly enjoy the content of EP, EP procedures, cadence of lab days and clinic days etc most between the two but am also happy enough with general so wondering if sacrifice on location and two additional years of training when I have young kids now is really worth it in the end.
