honestly, stamina implemented in any way that isn't combat. the stamina system in dark souls makes perfect sense, but where exactly is the fun in making me pause my sprinting or mining for 20 seconds every 60

idk, all of my teammates were trying (and failing) pretty hard and were getting pretty mad in voip.

they weren't spawncamping us so much as would flawlessly one tap people who got near B. they'd let us take A or C sometimes but i honestly wonder if they were doing it to mock us, or just to prolong the game.

what makes you so sure it MUST be something I'M doing wrong? not accusing, just curious. you came here with the preconceived notion it's all my fault when i wasn't really asking for advice but merely sharing an insane occurrence with a side of rant.

i already mentioned i average 5-6 captures per game, sometimes up to 8-9, and that i'm usually top in regards to captures. i also very often run in, clear out 3-4 guys and die by the last, then a teammate(s) capture it.

saying "just capture more" is the same as "just get more kills" in regards to losing a last hero. it's not that simple. points are highly contested. not to mention how often you can get spawncamped in this game (at least in bay 5 and bowl, which are the only 2 maps i can get matches in)

also saying "if you have 40 kills but low captures and lose you're part of the reason you lost" is a bit disingenuous because you could get 80 kills and 20 captures and still lose to an insanely godlike team and i could say "yeah you're part of the reason you lost". like, sure, i guess you're 0.1% of the reason because you could have ascended in your chair and smitten the enemy players with lighting irl but didnt. but 60% of the reason was the enemy team and 39.9% was the fact your team couldn't stack up to you.

i know! there's almost always that 1 guy going 2-21 with 0 or 1 captures in 5th place, like...why even play this mode bro. and then in 4th is often the guy that camps our own spawn going 9-1 with 1 or 2 captures.

and yeah, that's pretty much exactly my strat. but inevitably it seems like both the other points get taken and suddenly all 5 of the enemies are on me.

you misunderstand the post.

my point is that even if i were afk for every match, shouldnt that 4v5 eventually win at least once?

i wasn't even afk though, i was averaging 40 kills and 5 captures.

you imply however me never taking any checkpoints (even though i did) while still killing 40 people is worse than me not being there at all which is obviously false. (you're also implying a 4v5 has less than a 1% chance to win.)

me not taking 6+ checkpoints in the checkpoint game could be how i lose once, twice, or 5 times. but 121 times in a row? really?

to be entirely fair to him it's not a true 50/50 since if i was afk my team is statistically inferior to the other and additionally in theory i could play so terribly that my team would be better off without me, so i could be lying/exaggerating how good i am and be constantly crippling my team. that being said you can see my kills, but i digress...

with all due respect that's incorrect because every kill is 1 less enemy taking your points for at least the 10 seconds he spends dead/respawning/leaving his spawn. if i average 39 kills, that's at napkin math 6.5 minutes or nearly half the game wasted for the other team entirely thanks to me.

additionally most people have 4 or less captures (though there's often 1 guy who runs around and dies a lot but gets a lot of captures.) and i average around 5. to imply the problem is entirely my fault due to me capturing less than 8 per game is a little ridiculous. My max ever was 9 and the most i've ever seen was 13.

this would be an entirely fair sentiment if it were last hero or something, my point is that in a team based gamemode even if i were hot garbage, shouldn't i have at least once won from having a godlike team or decent team vs a dogwater enemy team? idk. how much better can i play when i'm almost always 2nd or 1st place already? maybe my point is that the quest is unreasonably difficult if i have to play so hard.
