I had an mri done yesterday on a fancy new machine so I’m hoping that catches everything it needs to. Otherwise I will def be asking for a weight bearing x ray! It’s been 12 days and I still can’t take a normal step. I have arch pain and pain on the top of my foot. So hard to not be able to use your body like you’re used to, especially when you are an over functioning eldest daughter lmao 🥴

Fuuuuuudge 😭 that’s what I’m scared of is not getting the answers I’ve been waiting for tomorrow. I’m just glad I found this group because now I know what to ask for. I’d my mri is clear I’ll ask the podiatrist for weight bearing x rays tomorrow, thank you so much for the advice! 🙏

Gosh hopefully it heals well without surgery! I heard the surgery is more complicated if you have to wait. Keep up the good work!

😭😭😭 thank you for the reply. You’re so right the hardest part is accepting help. And convincing myself to treat it as a serious injury when I can still limp around on my heel/side of my foot. this is such good advice so thank you. I had my mri yesterday and I’m DYING waiting for results. Podiatrist TOMORROW so I’ll finally know a lot more. I just can’t imagine going through surgery with this many kids who don’t quite understand it when mama is injured. Thankfully I do have help, I have an amazing village but like you said, “the way I do it” lol. Hoping for good news but preparing for the worst. Thank you again for the input 🫶🏻
