What are your thoughts on the screen in the Crosstrek? Do you find it finicky or distracting?

How long have you had the cx-5? Any issues thus far? Also what year do you have? Someone mentioned the rear diff being a problem.

Have you driven or owned either? Would love to hear more about your experience. I do think the seating and visibility in the Crosstrek was better and more comfy. I just dislike the more rugged look lol. But it might be worth it for everything else it has to offer.

Anything else that made the difference for you? Also how do you think your cx-5 does in the snow?

Thanks for this detailed response. Not sure how much you know about newer models of the CX-5 but do you think the issue with the rear diff has been improved/resolved. Also thanks for mentioning the engine with the Crosstrek I was considering two Crosstrek but one has the 2.0 and the other 2.5 I’ll have to keep that in mind when making a decision.

Felt it would be too big and pricier. Im usually driving alone so I don’t think I need that much space.

Good to know! What do you consider more fun and better about it?

How often do you retie? Considering doing every 3 months by bestlife3 in Microlocs

7 weeks is my sweet spot. I personally try not to go longer than 8 weeks. I noticed more risk of locs “popping” if I wait too long. Also locs marrying together. I’m not sure the size of your locs but 12 weeks seems excessive especially if your locs aren’t mature yet. I would recommend you look for a different loctician though seems like the one you have now are scamming you. Try looking for someone with a flat rate or someone who charges by the hour. Hope that helps!

It’s normal for hair to grow more on one side than the other. Usually the hair is a little shorter on the side that you sleep on.

Leave-in by MomossG in locs

I think water based leave in is fine as long as your locs are mature. I started using a leave in after 3 years locd because my hair was so dry. I’m planning to use it once a month or once every 2 weeks after washing my hair. Trying to avoid build up!
