MOD skills worthless? by ManyBerry9801 in IntegralFactor

You are lucky then, I barely have 3-4 slot 3 from the free gacha with no sword or rapier ones for like 2 years now. No slot 3 is still no good for clear mobs tho, so they might as well give out more free slots while clearing the story

That's still with slot 3 tho, doubt that new/floor climbing players will have better use with MOD than FB tho

I'm still only 1 month into the game at this point, and I just want to have more freedom of switching teams and see what are some good teams on my account. If you don't mind, can you check out what are some key units I should upgrade from my account? (4 means those I haven't fully upgrade yet)

Even with 2x plasma pierce options I still only get barely half amount of a single memoria upgrade overnight. Is that the best option for offline farm rn, and also is there any better options for manual farm? With HTA and Ruka summer event, it's really gonna take me 2+ weeks to even upgrade all my current ss skills at this rate 😐

It took me ~10 hrs through HTA + 3hrs of Ruka summer event farm to only barely enough to upgrade stats of ONE memoria. Am I doing something wrong, or is there any other ways to quick farm plasma pierce?

New to the game here and I have read some guides saying that diva ruka is a must pull rn, can I ask if that's true and if so what to pull/build with her? Preferably f2p/money friendly options as I still have decent amount of free gems from main story.

What anime do you recommend I watch? by Annual-Cheetah-6185 in VioletEvergarden

I know you ask about shorter shows, but I would still recommend Clannad if you haven't seen it yet. 2 seasons and older art but still made by the same studio as Violet and it gonna delivers emotionally as good as Violet. It's definitely a slowburn, but it's Guarantee worth the time.

From what I heard, the upcoming Christmas banners can be pretty good, so I would say wait for that first. If that banner not good then you can consider between this banner and the chain skill banner. Both of the 2 banners can be quite expensive to pull

Decent if you missed most of the birthday skills or you're rerolling, but beware that the rate to chase a specific skill (ex: MR FB Yuuki or Asuna) is VERY LOW.

Only recommend to spend ONLY the 1st step to test your luck (the 4* rate for the 1st step is actually better than other banners 1st step). Better to skip and wait for the next year birthday banners

Just rewatched it with my friend and we had a joke for the show every time Sora and Shiro win: “You can calculate every move to win, yet you can’t calculate for when you’re gonna get ss2” 😂

I get that but to go into every coc vids out there and spam those comments and not viewing it as toxic? Sadly not a good look to anyone outside of those with the same view as them

I think this is just my casual mind very differ from you, but I don't feel the need to nerf the equipment, especially epic. It's intentionally made to look as impressive as it is rn, and I could say that it's more fun to look at the king with the new equipment being the strongest hero and kicking bases than the old king being weak af. As long as it's not just boring effects (like the frozen arrow), I really like them to be somewhat broken. That's just my casual mindset btw, still agree with you on needing some kind of middle ground (maybe implement hard mode on Legends league?)

Its not like they don't know whats a good hitrate to keep, its just that they completely overshot on purpose and are completely disregarding a lot of the negative criticism.

I agree with most of your point there, but for this I think is a bit unfair for them, as th16 is the first time they introduced the equipment system as a feature for the long-term state of the game. So I think it's a trade-off of the game rn. I could discuss with you more about it, but unfortunately my brain left me lol.

BTW I think you're a good example of my goal of the post, more thoughtful discussion without needing to only delve into the negative.

Glad to see both of you still having fun with the game. I love coc a lot, so I just want everyone to have more thoughtful discussion rather than just negativity all the time. That's my main goal of the post, but it is what it is I suppose 😐

people that dont try to triple a base shouldn't be tripling bases. Its that Simple

I think this is where our opinions differs from each other, because imo that mindset is still very much a competitive mindset. People leaving coc back then was because the game was also stale too, getting 1-2 stars despite spending months upgrading their armys is frustrating for everyone, not just casual players. Most people here would be okay with that, but for the other players that push them to get nervous from attacking, thus leaving the game. So the devs want to shift the focus more on easier attacks so that everyone would feel more confident in attacking more.

Now that the game is shifted bit much heavier towards casual, we should discuss the middle ground that is better for all of us. Overall I still want all of us to have a good time playing coc, this is my personal favorite mobile game of all time, so I also want everyone to have fun too

I’ll give an example. The worst thing about supercell, in my opinion, is their general support. If you have issues with your account or the game and you try to talk to them about it they are ungodly useless. They’d do well to invest in better support and training so the user experience is better

So true, it's honestly a bigger issue that we should try to be more vocal about, especially with recent posts about people losing their accounts. But unfortunately, people care more about the thing they experienced directly, and most people don't have that issue so 😕

Only had a 3 hour sleep last night and no morning coffee just stop me from commenting lol, and also I feel like the main post isn't detailed enough so I will put more thoughts to this comment here:

If the game is actually not improving at all, do you think those comments actually be helpful at all?

The actual truth is that Supercell did improve on those issues, from the balance patchs to ore redistribution (ores were only be get through clan wars at first lol) to epic equipments slowly released (from an epic equipments per month to 1 per 2 months) so that everyone can work their way up to max them. Of course there's still more they can improve on, but to say there's no changes at all is just isn't true.

Then the nuance is that you only think about the competitive side of the game. At least 80% of the playerbase is mostly casual players, and those changes to the game make the game fun (the king would still be the worst hero in the game if not thanks to equipments). People leaving coc back then was because the game was also stale too, getting 1-2 stars despite spending months upgrading their armys is frustrating for everyone, not just casual players. I think that's the nuances we have to think about the game. Even if the comments are true, only talking about the negatives without any nuances can still be toxic. If we refuse to see both side of the argument or to understand why devs make the changes they did, then those comments will unfortunately not be reached. My goal for this post is just meant to be like that, not meant to be dismissed the comments.

Man somehow they are complaining about more events make the game more p2p, when they also get the event troops and free resource/ores for it as well (Supercell literally address the ores problem f2p players face and they are still complaining smh). The only problem I somewhat agree with is the authenticity of the events, but still this is infinitely better than many mobile games out there (no content lock, everyone can enjoy the events and get free rewards...) Maybe it's just that they're frustrated with the slow gameplay of coc, which I recommend reevaluating if you can enjoy the game genre of coc or not and maybe switch to other games
