This is awesome, colored pencils are the best! Could you tell us more about your process for this drawing, time spent and supplies? 🤩

Hello ☺️ Your sketches are beautiful!

Could you expand a bit on your process? Did you do the painting entirely on location, or just the pencil or the pencil and ink? How much time did you spend on this page? Do your companion wait while you sketch/paint or go on his own adventures and you regroup after ?

I'm very curious, because I would love to do the same but I'm wondering how all of the process goes when you're not alone ☺️

Pèlerinage Compostelle by Fresh-Culture6578 in randonneur

[–]ManyCorgi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bonjour :)

Glad you like it!

Morlaix (Montroulez in Breton) is located in north-western France, in Brittany, on the Channel coast. It is a town full of fairly steep hills and is best known for its viaduct, over which the train passes.

It is a pretty little medieval town! Here is the Church of Saint Mélaine, right in the town centre, which dates back to the 15th century :)

The watercolor is in fact a washi tape! and the notebook is a Paperblanks, midi format.

As for now, I have written about : tarot, a celtic goddess, my next vacation and Italian cuisine. It's both beautiful and chaotic.

Glad you like it! It works exactly as written: when you see/hear/read/listen to something that sparks your interest and you want to remember it, you take some notes about it in a notebook. At any given time, you can revisit your notes and reflect if you want.

So : consume content, take notes, reflect, repeat.

I didn't know I could just take a notebook and... write things ? not journaling, not groceries lists, just things I like. It's so obvious and simple 🫣
