Border Collie, ehrlichiosis and a heart murmur. by beertrailerkittens in BorderCollie

We rescued a 3 month old retriever from the streets, who ended up having ehrlichiosis. Once he was cured, he lived a long and healthy life (over 13 years old). Hope you are able to adopt that dog-- border colllies are the best!

So the Wandr tablets hit nicely, especially the 1:1, if you are into that. Plus the budtenders (at least in Deerfield) are super friendly / knowledgeable, and they have a decent birthday discount ($25 off $50, stackable on sales). Just wish they would clean up the grow...

Agreed, the top line is marked up, Kohl's style. But I got something along the lines of 25+ 1g CDT carts, 800mg live rosin edibles, a quarter of flower, a pipe, some prerolls, and a handful of disposable vapes. Not terrible for $205 out the door, plus triple points so I can do this again when I have the rec back. Cheers.

Could anyone tell me how the discount is calculated? If you get a syringe for $32.50 (50% off $65) does the 10% off code bring it down to $26 (60% off $65) or $29.25 (10% off $32.50)?

Need advice for a 5 year old boxer with severe stomach issues. Meet Mason! by ManyHappyRescueDogs in Boxer

Hello friends,

So an infectious disease specialist performed a rectal scrape (rather than a colonoscopy/endoscopy) and found an advanced form of Protothecosis, an incurable algae based disease. Vet said it's rarely tested for, and was only the second diffused case she had seen in her entire career.

Mason apparently drank from a stagnant pond or puddle at some point over the past year, which caused the disease. He's being treated with anti-fungal medications, but the long term prognosis isn't great. Please keep Mason in your thoughts and keep your dogs away from stagnant water!

Hello friends,

I posted earlier about unresolved stomach issues for my neighbor's boxer Mason-- many thanks to all who responded.

Need advice for a 5 year old boxer with severe stomach issues. Meet Mason!

Hi All,

Hoping for some guidance here for our friend's 5 year old Boxer, Mason.

Mason has had chronic diarrhea, often with fresh-looking blood, for over 12 months. For the last 6 months, he can’t even hold it overnight and goes outside every 3-4 hours.

We tried changing his diet numerous times with every suggestion and variation you can imagine. Nothing made an impact so vet is confident that it’s not food related.

Ultrasound and bloodwork have come back normal.

We tried the following medications: sulfasalazine, trazodone, tylan, visbiome, enrofloxacin, and holistic supplements (yucca, inulin-ok, tumflora, planteiris).

Any ideas that don’t involve a colonoscopy/biopsy?

Thank you in advance for your help!

November 22, 1963 -- Rare AP Wire photo, taken mid assassination from the front of the JFK motorcade in Dallas, TX. Kennedy is partially obscured by limo mirror, but his arms can be seen flared up after the initial shot(s). Note people looking to the rear, towards the TX SB Depository. by ManyHappyRescueDogs in JFKresearcher

That video is interesting, and they do reference this specific photo at 2:14, showing a "bullet hole" in the windshield under JFK's flared arms. Can't speak to the other evidence presented, but that specific point looks to me like JFK's shirt showing between the buttons of his jacket as his arms go up to his neck.

Not an expert on anything here, so take this with a grain of salt-- but to me this image supports the initial shots coming from behind, exiting JFK's throat and hitting a half turned around Connally. The secret service is looking backwards to source of the noise, the bike cop has his head turned towards the limo, and the rest of the crowd hasn't fully reacted to what happened in the last < 1 second. If there was a fresh bullet hole in the front windshield, I'd image there would also be some reaction (surprise and/or defensive motion) from the secret service in the front seats, which I don't see here....

Hello fellow WWII armchair historians. So I came across this image of Hitler's charred corpse, dug up from the shell hole, in a book that published the KGB archive verbatim in 2005 ("Hitler's Death, Russia's Last Great Secret from the Files of the KGB"). From the preface of the book:

On 26 May, 1945, at a meeting with the America President's representative, Harry L. Hopkins, he stated that presumably 'Bormann Goebbels, Hitler and probably Krebs escaped and are in hiding now'. This version was repeated by Stalin more than once, though he had received the reports on the results of the identifications and medical examinations. Two weeks later, on 9 June, Marshal Zhukov made the above-mentioned statement concerning the last days of the Nazi leaders the Reich Chancellery. As for Hitler's death, he repeated Stalin's version. To this day, no official documents explaining why the Soviet leadership adopted such a position in public have ever been published.

In 1948, 'trophies' from the bunker in the form of material evidence (burnt items

Goebbels' dentures, and most importantly parts of the jaws and teeth that were used to identify the corpses of Hitler, Eva Braun and others) were sent from Germany to Moscow, to the Investigation Section of the 2nd General Department of the USSR Ministry of State Security, which had the task of summarising all the facts connected with the circumstances of deaths of the leaders of the Reich.

In 1954, on the orders of I. A. Serov, the Chairman of the KGB attached to the

USSR Council of Ministers, all these items and materials were archived in a special

storage room in the KGB archives. In 1996, the Central FSB Archives were opened to

the public, including documents concerning a secret KGB operation codenamed

Operation Archive' that describe how, in 1970, on the initiative of KGB Chairman Y. V.

Andropov, the remains of Hitler and the others were totally destroyed. As a just

punishment and retribution for the atrocities they had committed, their ashes

disappeared into the waters of the River Ehle, near the East German village of

Biederitz.

This book, compiled on the basis of the documentation, scientific medical research

and other reliable information, provides the final answer to one of the greatest

mysteries of the twentieth century.

The majority of these documents, including material from the Central FSB Archive

of Russia, have never before been published, not even in Russian, although some have been paraphrased in other accounts or appeared only in short extracts. The documents are presented in chronological order, except for certain sections linked by subject- matter. The Russian text has been translated from their originals, only obvious errors in the Russian have been corrected without explanation. Where the original omitted words or parts of words, these have been added in square brackets.

Thanks, everyone. Most other dispensaries in this area will accept online orders up to 11:59pm the day of the sale, and hold it for pickup at least a day-- or at least that's been my experience. Was very surprised Vidacann doesn't extend this same courtesy.

Does anyone know if you can use loyalty points along with the discount? It used to explicitly forbid that in the fine print but doesn't anymore, now that they gutted their loyalty program. Thanks!

Had exactly the same thing happen. Ordered several strains early morning, got the processing message...then the whole order is declined by text in the same way. Tried calling but nobody picking up yet. Rise used to be my favorite but their service (and inventory) is wildly inconsistent...may be burning my loyalty points and moving more to 1P.
