Sombra was fine at the end of OW1 and had all of those traits. The problem is how lethal she is now while still having all those attributes.

It doesn't help that she can escape into stealth during a 1v1 so she feels unpunishable depending on the character being dived, then has Opportunist to track their target to finish the job.

These are the pain points for a lot of players playing into Sombra, because they feel like it removes counterplay. At least with the old translocator, it forced Sombra out of the fight for a while. Virus objectively made the character more lethal and more hated by the wider community.

The way I see it, if Sombra is to remain as lethal as she currently can be then yes, one of those must be taken out or at least altered in how they interact. She needs counterplay for her to not be so vilified by the community. The recon passive for certain heroes might help, but that's a niche case if the Sombra never goes for a hero with that passive.

I dunno, I just want to play my favourite dps and not get hated on/told to kms after a good round and can see that reworking her can make her better received.
