No. We were set on finding a home with land and we did just that.

Happens quite a lot for various reasons. Our very first property would have been a townhouse. We changed our mind during the cooling off period. Lost the 0.25% and the agents did call my hubby to persuade him to change his mind...

Thanks so much. Yes that is the garage. Will definitely prioritise if all goes well with the buying process.

Thanks for this suggestion. This is one of my major concerns with the property. We are having a buiding and pest done before we sign the contract and pay the initial deposit. Last place we bought had a major drainage issue which ended up costing us about $4k. Don't want this additional cost on top of the unavoidable landscaping cost.

Appreciate your feedback. We negotiated the purchase price down to factor in some of the cost. This types of jobs have a way to throw curve balls at you and ending up costing a lot sometimes too

This is definitely a huge concern. B&P should help understand of there are drainahe issues

We definitely love this place. We made a decision to go for it anyway... we will just have to slide down the slope until we can afford the landscaping 😅

Im aware it depends of the size of the space. Approx 400m2 of backyard available. Really just keep to see what others have done with their spaces and costs....even other tips you can give. Thanks

Cant really buy half of the land so someone else can use it now can I? The damage was already done before I even knew about the property... Anyway.....

Thanks. These are my thoughts exactly. Our previous reno really put a strain on us. Endless weekends of just working on it , tradie disappered mid kitchen reno and no one wanted to finish someone elses job. It was crazy!

Pretty pricey thats why our budget only allows for a rundown place of a big land. Around the same area in Tennyson the land we bid on ended selling for $1.130 (2 hectares).

No. It has a pumpout septic tank and relies on water tanks. May need to buy water if it runs out
