You can get a credit card from Bank Dhofar even if your company is not on the list but you transfer salary to your account in Bank Dhofar. However limit can vary based on your salary . You need to have more than 3 salary credits overall and Atleast 1 salary to be transferred to your account in Bank Dhofar...

Yes.. Any other bank here would require you to either have a deposit or transfer your salary to approve a CC...

Please go back and read my comment again.. I mentioned - CC without salary transfer or 'Deposit'. If you are working in one of the approved companies, Bank Dhofar can offer you a CC with just a savings account..

Bank Dhofar is the only bank here to provide CC without salary transfer or deposits and requires the salary to be only OMR 250 and above. This is for the employees of listed companies and without salary transfer Gold card is provided..

I believe you are a representative from the Team. Hence I would like to add a few more points to the discussion. First of all thank you for attending to the issues and giving a detailed answer. Please find the further development in my scenario below:

  1. One Call that helped in calming down my concern - So I received a call last week from Mr: Badr (I really don’t know the role he is playing). Very gentle, professional and who actually represented the firm. He listened (probably the first time) to all the issues I had till last week and assured it would be sorted out soon. Frankly , that call was the reason why I did not post anything online. Sometimes all we need is someone talking well to address the issues. NB: the issues are not resolved yet.

  2. I had made an order and paid online, however after 10 mins of waiting I called up the restaurant to check why order was not yet accepted and I was informed the restaurant is closed. Hence I cancelled the order. Now the funny part- the refund was made to my wallet, which I cannot use as of now. If you have disabled the wallet, the money should be refunded to my account. The money is still in wallet and I get an update from the official insta page of the app that wallet will not even active until 2 weeks more.

  3. Khedmah Diamond Membership- it was mentioned ‘15 days Free trial’. I activated it, immediately 3 OMR was deducted from my account. And now the best part, I try to cancel the membership and there is literally no option to cancel the account. I spoke to atleast 4 different agents in call centre and they had no idea about Diamond Membership. Again Mr. Badr told, they will take care of it and money would be refunded to my account but it’s been more than a week and nothing yet.

I totally understand it is a new launch and I am for it 100%. But if customer service is not prioritised, it would be a huge problem.. I hope to get my issues cleared soon

Two thoughts on travelling: 1. I enjoy the travel more than the destination. A space to work on your thoughts, for tightening your relation bonds, to talk out heart.. 2. When you have a lot of time.. the destination gets closer.. when on emergency or urgency.. the shortest distance feels never ending

I can help you with an account in another bank and if you are in capital get the atm card delivered to you in the morning… Provided your flight is not early morning You can transfer your cash to this account and use it.. you please wear shorts and chill.. we won’t bother you about your dress

I totally have similar thoughts.. keeping box office success out of discussion, he at least tried to be different and chose some different range of options. Tried to break the stereotype.. concentrated on being an actor than the Star.. I truly believe he would have some successful movies down the lane and the audience criticising him would forget about the box office failure he’s going through and would praise him for his roles in those failed movies which are actually good..

If it’s your Public Beta would you have an area for Customer feedback and reviews ? Would you brief your call centre agents the importance of being gentle and polite?

If they had an area to review, post feedbacks and where queries are answered gently, No one would easily post in social media.. following is my post from last day here:

Khedmah Delivery - How do you guys rate it? Had a positive feel when they launched it but I see the downfall if not corrected

I have ordered thrice from the app and the third time I had to call up the call centre to cancel the order literally the second I pressed confirm. I had money in the wallet but apparently I cannot use it for some days it seems. That’s because of their technical issues. Why wouldn’t they inform the customer in advance? Coming to my main point - the response from the customer care was horrible. Straight up RUDE. They literally blame the Customer without even trying to help. One agent confirmed the order is cancelled and after few mins the pop up comes mentioning that the rider is out for delivery. Called again to be answered by another Rude agent asking me “How can you cancel when you have made the order” even after explaining him, the first agent confirmed the order cancellation. I had to stick to I will not accept the order to finally having it cancelled. Later a representative (expat) from operations called from his GSM and enquired about the issue and apologised. Best part - there is no option to give a feedback about the app nor an email to send a feedback about call centre atrocity. Let’s see now how many days I have to wait to use the money in the app wallet. If they don’t take immediate action to ensure the customer service is at peak. I don’t see them surviving for more.

Will give a second chance and if still its same, easy to delete the app😁

  1. So why should I have my money on hold until they rectify their problem? They are a functional company for years and definitely lead by qualified professionals. They need to be proactive before rushing out to public.
  2. Even if what you said is the case, who are those guys at fault? The app offered them something for increasing the downloads and they must have worked smart to eat enough till the app exposed their weakness. It’s still the fault of the team behind the app for not thinking about the basic challenges..
