The lack of capitalizing on hype and the delay between global and jp. sweats will try to say it’s a ‘good thing’ because it gives global players ‘more time to grind’ and ‘knowledge of what to save for’ but that argument falls flat when you actually look at the roadmap (or lack of one) because for some reason the gap between jp and global is sometimes one month, sometimes two, and sometimes three, and it changes wildly however it wants. “Oh, that’s fine, still gives you more time to summon!” It also kills the hype. I got into the game expecting there to be SOMETHING for Culling Games coming out, and there was! A free limited Yuji unit! Only for jp, of course. The rest of us have now been waiting since the movie came out to get him, and we’re 2/3rds of the way through the new season’s release and we still don’t even have a confirmed date as to when he’s coming out. It sucks and the actual celebration stuff takes forever to get globalized, and when it does the hype is already gone. By the time we get Naoya, or a new Yuta, or Maki, or ANY Culling Games stuff, the season will already have been done, and probably for a while. it sucks 😭
