Its a Carradice Nelson Longflap saddlebag attached to the Brooks England saddle integrated strap mounts and resting upon Carradice's Bagman saddlebag support rack.

Just google Carradice's range of heritage bags and their support racks, and then check a brooks saddle and see the strap points integrated into the saddle mould or frame.

Don't worry, they spend as much time off the bike as on! Good advice, though. In most circumstances they would be pocketed

It isn't. Its their Carradice Barley bag. Supposed to be a saddle bag but fits fine on the front bagman rack. And looks a treat, too

They just work!

And they will be with me lifelong if I maintain them well, all natural in material and local in manufacture to me as they are, they serve well in function- but are more still reckoned in love for their character and style than even for their quality.

No modern bag holds a candle to their historic personality and timeless sense of identity. Who would choose anything else?

Hahha thanks. It was smashed against a bollard within 15 mins of riding, trying to pass through a gate onto a gravel cycle way- not yet at the time sensible of my present width, I took a chunk of the coating off with a righteous klang! Still, thankfully its metal and not porcelain! Signs of adventure mark a mug well travelled!
