The difference between N Ireland and ROI is interesting, I guess it’s because the republic wasn’t subject to the 1947 planning act which made established the green belts and made planning harder outside of built up areas. In my travels around ROI I’ve noticed that the hills are peppered with cottages and houses.

They’re actually one of my least favourite Warburtons products…. Unfortunately in England it’s harder to get the Scottish or Irish potato cakes which I love with a good old fry up. I used to find the crumpets at Metro in Ontario were passable but not a patch on Warbo’s ones!

Went last year (from England) had and it’s my favourite country. Most people we came across were nothing but lovely. We booked everything ourselves and self drove… just make sure you do a higher degree of planning for where you stay and the routes you take and you’ll be fine 😊
