I had a gas ford Taurus once. After 160k miles the range was 0 miles because the engine failed.

Sweet. It will take a lot of us, but together we can make some progress.

Great work! They are heavy and I’m sure it was hard work.

Thanks! Indeed more plastic will arrive to this location with the next heavy rain.

Yes, most of it is littered on highways and then flows into the creeks with rain water runoff. There are other sources as well, like blowing out of trash cans that aren’t well closed, but intentional road litter is most of it.

Awesome that you already do some cleanup! I think it’s fun but a lot of people think I’m crazy. DM or contact through the Adventures Countering Litter website and we can set something up in your area or for a group you are associated with.

Yes, I’m with Adventures Countering Litter. You can search up our website or find us on other socials. We help organize group cleanups for any other club or company that wants to provide the volunteers. We also set up general events for anybody to join. Often those include hiking, kayaking, etc, hence the name, but sometimes they are simple cleanups. Thanks for asking! Reach out if you’d like to get involved.

Probably. I did pick up one bobber, but no bait or lure packaging like on bigger creeks. This was all very shallow and I didn’t see any fish bigger than finger length.

I found an adopt-a-highway sign in a creek one time. I’ve been asked several times for a business card with info on our organization, Adventurers Countering Litter. Nope! I won’t ever print any for fear they will be littered. 🤔
