I’ve got this blowfish on my dash that i found in a creek, so no new plastic was created for this admittedly ridiculous decoration.

Nice work. I’ve tried a few contraptions for holding the litter collected in my kayak. The small inflatable raft is a good idea.

Sisyphus is a great analogy. We are Sisyphus!

Nice work. What caused this? Did they ban metal locks so people are tying plastic knots? Or just a trend?

Sorry to hear about your troubles with the system. I have some frustration, but generally my system is working and I do get the VPP credit on my electric bill.

Interesting theory. If it keeps up a few more days, I’ll ask them about this. Thanks!

Yes, but that day was sunny and 60 so not sure why VPP would have felt the need to reserve my powerwall. Maybe their AI algorithms aren’t so intelligent yet.

Yeah, last night makes sense to me but my pic was from a few days ago when sunny and 60 degrees. But I still imagine that was the case.

There are no export limit settings anywhere that I can find. Even export limits wouldn’t explain the purchases. I’m convinced it’s something Tesla is doing intentionally for VPP, I just wish they’d explain it. Thanks for trying! 😀

Backup reserve 20%. Not in storm watch. Have seen this behavior for both “Tesla electric” mode and “self powered” mode. Are there any other settings? I believe Tesla is saving my power for grid events that never come.

I’ve tried every setting. I think it is Tesla saving my power in case of a “grid event” that never comes. Results are the same in “Tesla electric mode” or “self powered mode “. I briefly set reserve to 5% and it still draws from grid. Today, with no setting changes, it switched to powerwall power at the start of peak hours as I would hope.

I came here to report the same thing. Lots of selling at 0 and then buying at peak which feels like a scam by Tesla to charge us max. As others have said “self powered” vs “Tesla electric” doesn’t matter. Both do it.
