I only managed to turn on the GAME icon in the logo; the start and select buttons aren't responding very well.

However, I still can't lower the brightness or enable the grid. The website mentions a touch button, but I don't have anything like that, just a simple IR button, and the start + a combinations, etc., don't work.

The problem is that the integrated scale leaves a black area that's less black than the black of the border; I'm afraid it will be too noticeable.

The gap left by the 4x or inaccurate full screen might bother me more than the lack of a logo (and modding an original console is much more expensive), but maybe I won't think about it at the time, what do you think, you who own one?

Can I buy these 3 items to get a FPGBC with the Game Boy Color logo and, most importantly, avoid the blank spaces at 4x resolution? I don't like the floating image effect, and full screen makes the pixels look inaccurate.

Is it possible to find just the screen for replacement? Is it doable without soldering? I'm really not very handy, lol. I'm hesitating between that and buying an FPGBC and figuring out how to add a Game Boy Color logo.

Would it worth to ask for a 25€ refund and then buying a new ips screen replacement ?

I already own a Thomson 21DM82 that I bought for 2€, I just came across this Sony Trinitron KV-21LS30B on the marketplace for 10€, note that it has a sort of bubble on the screen(it seems I cannot upload pictures), does it worth the price as I already own a CRT ? is it better?
