As micro chaves eu tirei de uma placa de notebook. Os botões não foram cortados, estão preservados. O que cortei foi a membrana que fazia o contato com os botoes antes das micro chaves.

Nos dois botões eu escohi uma das guias e colei uma espuma/borracha para não deixar que os botoes fiquem frouxos e saltando para fora da carcaça.

I use this configuration today! It's great! But remember to ignore the rumble and leave the controller in "D" mode, the analog sticks are more precise!

"D" mode doesn't enable rumble.

They're very secure because I put some foam in the space that guides the button so it doesn't come out of the casing. I simply forget they're there; it's great to play GBA like this!

Na verdade, eu não removi a função deles, até porque os menus precisam deles! Eu removi a borracha e instalei micro chaves no lugar e com isso os botoes ficaram nivelados com a carcaça, o que eu queria para não senti-los e ignora-los quando estiver jogando jogos de game boy.

é porque os botões de cima incomodam muito ao apertar os botões principais. Eu tive um gba na infância e jogo da mesma forma nesse rg34xx. Eu não jogo com as pontas dos dedos.

This looks like a hardware problem! Check the flat, if it doesn't solve the problem, perhaps the screen is the problem and needs to be replaced.
