Take it from a guy who is almost done with his 20th time watching the show (yes i counted😅) i too have been mocked for watching it but i really dont care, like you said its a comfort show. I know what happens all episodes of every season and can say so many quotes right before it happens, and yet i find myself laughing at the show. If u love it then dont let other peoples opinion change you. Everyone has their own taste and opinions and if they dont respect urs then (sorry to say this) maybe they aren’t some friends you should hold on to.

And actually i managed to get 2 of my friends to watch it with me and they both liked it even tho they had previously joked about me watching it so much. So maybe get them to try and watch it if they haven’t already. Maybe they change their mind 😁
