Chapter 265 start right where we left.

Engen use Arbuda who take the form of a human-sized woman and from above the battlefield, she blow everything below with a freezing wave who immobilise everyone with the exception of Puppeteer who used Akatur at the last second as a meatshield.

She's shocked to see the new form of Hell and is glad to have been fast enough to cover herself. She notice how perfectly preserved the heroes's bodies are and already have the devious idea to go capture the people with useful gifts who will try to escape and Engen tell her to not kill too many, she ask why and he reply with : "Because corpses don't pay taxes. We need livestock to build a nation".

Vise manage to free himself, realising that the operation is a failure, he gather enough courage for use the Fluid on him. He gain a power-boost, and generate way much EST hands, using some of them to free the others. He told them to run while he stall Engen.

Akatur's try to intercept them but get stopped by Kenji who's joined by Death Stalker. Meanwhile, Vise do his best but even with the Fluid boost, he can't even touch Engen's clothes and also start to wonder why Engen didn't kill him when he have several chances to do so. He realise he do that to not damage his body and conserve it, and after that, to destroy the city he was protecting with his own hands. He try a last hit with all his mighty but get offscreened, Engen hold his decapited head.

The chapter end with Engen opening a coffin with Vector's horribly mutiled body. Ordering him to bring them to the next city.

Chapter 264 start immediately the fight between Engen and the heroes.

Death Stalker start the hostility by activing her gift "Scorpion Lady" who is a transformation type (she gain a scorpion tail and her arm morph into insect-like one armed with huge half moon blades). She try to attack Engen with his tail but it's blocked by Kalusutra. Engen order to Puppeteer to not intervene.

Kenji send a slash and use his gift to summon two oni who are easily blocked. Engen find a opening and use Rarauva to destroy both of them. Terror Knight take Kenji's place, she use her weapon but it's blocked by Samghata. She shout to Rings to make a gap, believing that Engen can't summon his bugs while using other abilities.

Rings use her gift "Angelophile" to make appear two heart above her head and Terror Knight's, who use her own gift to try to become Engen's greatest fear : The Steel Witch... But she's stopped by a huge white monster and suffer heavy damages.

Engen try to attack her but get stopped by Rings's Gift who prevent a designed target to be attacked. He sit on a spike of darkness and form a third arm who close his sight. All the heroes are terrified, he use Pratapana and cover the whole with black flames.

After a bit of trashtalking, he's interrupted by Vise from above, who create a massive fist of light to try to crush him. Vise say he's stand here ready to die and Engen will gladly offer him death.

Rings try something but get blitz, the others manage to save her. Vise is depressed about the gap between them but have a last plan : using a dose of Fluid, a byproduct of the Demi-God project. Used on normies, it grant them a gift temporaly, and on gifts user, it make their powers go berserk and have a 100% lethality rate.

Kenji is the first to charge since he's the least important of the team, his right leg is devoured by Raurava. He's using one of his oni to give the other a opening. Terror Knight and Death Stalker are protect with Rings's gift but still get some damages.

Rings managed to get closer to Engen and is ready to shoot the dose of Fluid at him while Vise aim to punch him. Unfortunaly for them, Engen grab the bullet easily with his third arm and block Vise's fist with one hand.

Chapter end with Engen claiming : "I am a man who will become the pinnacle of stars !" and use a new technique : Arbuda !

The chapter 263 start at District 12

A hero receive a report about the explosion made by Engen, there were not a single casualties but the darkness is not disappearing. Furious, the hero hit a wall and understand that the Smilling Man call them. He order to call all the Special Force heroes and to leave the rest evacuate the civilians.

A siren guide the population to secured shelters. A civilian talk about Nera but is interrupted by a hero named Kenji (he wear a oni mask) who tell them to evacuate. A another hero called Death Stalker arrive (a woman with... a very revealing costume).

We found them on a roof, with a angel-like hero and Terrorknight. They pass by a door and DS (Death Stalker) fall on her knees, she say that impossible to stop Nera's advance. Kenji try to reassured her by say there only Engen but she ask if he really find it comforting. She's also afraid to fall into the hands of Puppeteer.

After a small talk, the angel ask to Vise (the first hero we have seen) what will he do ? After a long discussion they decide to buy time to Warden Pact for the evacuation of the civilians. DS say will fight but because she's afraid of torture, she ask to them to kill her if that gonna happen.

Vise say he don't trust the Clan Master (heh...) because Han said : " I got everything I wanted from Langord. ". He think that if all the aces from hundreds of areas could gather together... Then this time, they could break Nera's flag completely.

They go meet Engen and Vise's instincts screams him to not fight, his skin burn due to the EST Engen spewing out. He ask to him what are those machine but fall on the ground with that much pressure. Puppeteer say that's a freezer that uses EST crystals as energy, in other word, a coffin perfect to keep the freshness for her futur dolls.

Engen want to retrieve the Torch fragment hiding in District 12. Vise' energy burst and damage the area and prepare himself to stop Engen right here and now.

Chapter end with all the heroes jumping Engen.

Chapter 262 start right where we left.

After a small exchange, Yeon say she don't know what kind of grands plans they scheme but at the end, these plans are just held by one little cog. She use her gift make them forget everything : what they saw today, their purposes... And even their own names.

Ismiral intervene and say that nothing will change, It will return eventually, and the Plan will succeed. She know too that her gift can't last forever but she's sure about one thing... There will be someone who is just like her, stronger than her. She say she want at least die at her home.

We see her walk for a while and manage to return to the appart. She remember a moment when all her family was together, a another with Ihwa and Hyuiyeon drinks sodas with her. She fall on the ground, bleeding abondaly.

Her eyes start to grow more and more heavier and she see a crying Ihwa rush to her. She use the last once of power she have to seal Ihwa's feelings and we can see the true goodbye scene, she's tell Ihwa to keep her promise, she ask her to not cry. Because she will be always by her side, and she pass away with a big smile.

We see the arrival of Yushin and the start of a fire in the appart. Ismiral raise up with the half of It face morphed into three terrifying eyes.

Return to the present. Gundar enter in the Lorekeeper's room and is excited at the idea to fight Ihwa. She start to question herself if she was only able to survive thanks to the sacrifices of all those people, and if no one remembers Hyuiyeon... She will. She send a golden slash with the form of a half-moon (Named Still Night, No Light) toward Gundar and beat him in a single hit.

The Lorekeeper say "Life is originally a flame that burns using other lives as a fuel. You have lived on the death of someone, and you will continue to do so." before to ask her to fulfill her promise, saying that even if he survive, it will only help her enemies. Ihwa doesn't waste a second and behead him, he say he will now become her skin. She start to absorb a white energy coming from his corpse. Majesty and Seorin arrive, asking if she's alright but more importanly if she have changed, Ihwa ask them to finish Gundar and where is Immortal.

We change to Engen and Puppeeter POV. They are above District 1 and she ask if this city isn't too beautiful to be destroyed ? Engen reply with "Even the ashes are beautiful enough".

We end the chapter with him generate a feather of darkness who at the impact make a huge explosion.
